you should do modern KPA equipmen, idfk what they use specifically but the camo looks like south korean and PLA camo and do the modern vehicles and tanks from the parades

Dudes to be honest - this IS MODERN for the North Korean Army. In fact I don't think they have this much equipment IRL that isn't from the 50s most of the stuff they have is last gen 1970s Chinese equipment and a bunch of Ali-express Iranian plastic shit that breaks in a stiff breeze.

There is no korean radio protocol (unit voices) or names so I used the chinese ones as placeholders.

Hello, thanks for mod. but i need help ( advice ). I am working on a campaing on korean peninsula and wonder, what map suits best? been searching for a while but cant find anything good. it does not have to be 100% accurate, but at least resemble the terrain and got a good place to make demilitarized zone, can some one help ?

With regards the tanks spawning without crew - this is actually not an issue related to this mod as I can see as the Project OPFOR tanks spawn without crew even with this mod disabled

It might be conflicting with project OPFORs KPA Units i will fixed it soon.

There is a little problem. And a don't know if is this part of the mod.
If you spawn one of the tanks there wont be any Crew in it, because the classname it referes to is "LOP_NK_Infantry_Driver", but it should be "LOP_NK_Infantry_Crewman"

Yo, anyone else playin stuff like the randomly generated missions and the Norkies ain't showin up? Happened twice.

1: North Korean uniforms should be dark brown and less bulky, more like Soviet WW2 uniforms.

2: North Korea's main battle tank is the T-62, its own produced versions and Chinese variants.

I know you probably know this, but just some suggestions.

@Jequk the thing is theres a difference between north and south koreans language. diffent decent of words grew apart from eachother more frankly the north sounds sharper and stronger with bulky words. youd have to sound deeper if you want to voice for him

That’s unfortunate. Would you make the change if you later on either find the means and/or the know how to, or you find the voice file to do so?
Cuz I think it would really add to the immersion if it can be done.

@Spuer Zerb Sounds pretty realistic to me; They do give death threats to the world (while spending all their resources to build weapons of mass destruction and leaving the people poor) and stare blinklessly at you all the time. 10/10 for the realism.

so an issue i noticed is when i use map editor and put these guys in and then put blufor troops down in front of them,the north koreans won't shoot at them unless i the play shoot first, is that an issue on my end or could it be a bug with the mod, i like the mod it's just something thatr doesn't make sense

Those were DMZ guards they mostly wear light equipment at there guard posts. In combat KPA soldiers would wear tactical vests and body armor. one thing I have noticed is that they seem to have replaced there SSh-68 helmets with what seems to be the 6B27 helmet.

one thing, in the recent footage that we saw North Korean soldier defecting to the South, the North Korean soldier firing at him seems to be wearing Russian chest rig. So can we change that?

you can also make the Russian M88 uniform a little Browner to imitate the North Korean one

Hey, im still new to using ALive and I just wanted to know how to use this faction with ALive? When I place an AI_Commander module, I can't seem to find this in the faction list?

It would be nice to see the Koksan artillery and other North Korean tanks and APCs. Also maybe a nice Korean map to go with the mod?

This needs a big, fat Kim Jong-Un to blast away. 10/10
