Ok well I may have overexagerated. I do have quad CPUs but its not like running the oldest game that exists on a computer that I'm not sure is even out of the development stages. But Its low resource take-over. Right now I only have Rainmeter on wich is a glorious software wich can be installed on the internet and its free. Its basicly putting an interactive HUD that is customizable and you can get new stuff for it on DeviantArt if you serch "Rainmeter" on DeviantArt. Wallpaper Engine is off for me right now. At the moment running around 5-10% CPU power, occasinally above 10% but no higher than 20%. Still no one likes to pay for wallpapers tho but if its nice and if we have a nicely packed wallet, we don't take a care in the world to pay.

Ok, well, I don't agree to DLC style ether, no one does, but do we care? If we have jobs, and if the item it cheap which it is always cheap, we still don't care. Also the amount every wallpaper loads on my four CPUs is like running the oldest game that exists, on a quatum computer. Also don't get me wrong but quantum computers ard DANG POWERFUL. Also the workshop is not rubbish, it just depends on what YOU like. Also you could be nice about it and upvote it for all of the desperate peole who DO WANT THIS WALLPAPER!!!

Secondly, regardless of how terrible all the wallpapers around here are, their performance is also terrible. Less than 1 in 20 is resource-friendly and they're never the good looking ones. By putting this behind a pay-wall and due to the way the workshop works, you have no way of finding out if it hogs 20% of your CPU or GPU until you buy it. So there are pretty decent odds of throwing your money away at something like this only to find out it's an awful idea to run it 24/7 because the dev couldn't be bothered to keep resource use around 2%. There's no recourse for DLC/workshop purchases. You're just SOL. So, again, I say no to any and all paid wallpapers.

You miss my point. Nearly everything in the workshop is already rubbish. I'm saying this looks decent, but since you can't have it it contributes to keeping the workshop full of rubbish. If every half-competent artist here does that, the software will remain a arcade claw crane for manuer due to its lack of worthwhile content. I'm not going to support a 100% DLC oriented approach and that's the main reason I won't upvote anything content that pushes in that direction.

Wallpaper Engine's content is absolute rubbish but that's not surprising when wallpapers that look even half decent are held back. I've downvoted because I disagree with the approach. Due to this, everyone has a nice piece of software with a bucket of teenage anime boobs to "choose" from. :steamfacepalm:
