I plan to update it to work with the current game build within the next few weeks

Howdy friend! I just came across this mod and was really excited to use it, but I see it isn't working and hasn't for a little bit. Is there any plans to continue work on this?

Adding Tribes of Terra to my playset causes game to crash on start (probable conflict with TWO other mods that add loading screens). How come that I have two mods that work together with adding loading screen and ToT can't do that?

Not sure about anyone else but for me today's update has made the mod crash my game before it even gets to the load screen

I will dig into it and provide an update this weekend. I was going to be out of town for a week, but my plans have changed.

Please make your localisation/english folder lowercase, capitalization breaks the mod on OSX and Linux

This has been updated. Sorry for the delay. I need to find some time and look at this more closely, as I think there are some visual optimizations that can occur. Keep in mind that it was designed not to conflict with other mods, and should work with all future versions of the game.

Update for 2.3 incoming. Maniac, yes, I should have all of the original art files. That's a nice guide. Stellaris portrait alignment was always a terrible slog, that's a huge help.

Hey I'm a fan of your mod. I'm wondering, do you still have the original unedited images you used available somewhere? I've found some of them on pinterest and on Amarante's site, but not all. I've just written a guide on portrait alignment ( https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/a-visual-guide-to-static-portrait-alignment.1189113/ ) and I'd like to see it's possible to redo some of the images with my new knowledge, especially those with the person cut off at the shoulder.

if you do make a new version, please leave a version playable in 2.1, a great great many will not be going beyond 2.1.3. would appreciate a legacy version remaining for us.

Are you planning a 2.2 version?

I did some light testing and couldn't reproduce. I would suggest testing with all other mods disabled. ToT is designed to be compatible with all other mods, but there may be a conflict with a mod that you are using in a way that I haven't thought of. Disable all other mods and let me know the result.

I figured out the issue, one of the GFX has a capitalized extension. I don't understand exactly why it refuses to read like that, but uncapitalizing the extension fixes the issue.

Some of the leaders picture are not appearing, it looks blank with a name, but no actual picture. This seem to be at least the picture of the woman in the sort of skin bikini. The odd thing is that all pictures are working as population, just not as leaders.

The wiki contains good instructions for 2d portrait creation.
