That worked for me. Yeah, putting shaders to high really has no effect on fps, and the game looks a lot nicer. I just set it to low since I prefer performance to shinyness.

@munchiesnOOb Even you are playing on potato or toaster, why don't you just turn shaders on high in settings ? It will not affect fps too much, maybe you lost only 1 or maxumum 2 fps but everything in game begins to looking good ! Try it.

Is there any way I can mess with the texture myself and just change the chrome parts to white, or gray?
I really like this skin, but the all black texture without shaders ruins it for me.

It is never chrome for me at all.
Tried on several maps. The thumbnail for it in the loadout menu is chrome, but ingame its all black, no matter the lighting.
