I noticed in this video, a mod that allows execution like in Postal 1. I can't find it, what is it called? Or maybe someone can help me and show me the way to it?

for some reason your mod is named dudedialogue while the actual file in the sound folder is called dudedialog, so it doesn't end up replacing the voice lines

It might be possible but it's beyond me. You have to replace some of the original lines as far as I know, I'm not savvy enough with PostEd to know if you can actually add.

And yeah as long as I remove the BasePeople.u and add it from XPatch it works fine. Conflict of sorts maybe?

For some odd reason this along with XPatch and Brain Damaged Startup causes my game to crash if I install it manually. Gives me the Failed to find function GetDudeSkin in AWPostalDude Startup.AWPostalDude0 error as soon as I drop the files of this mod into the game.

For demonstration purposes. Cheating is the #1 way to assure the mod works, since otherwise you'd probably have to kill a lot of NPCs to test it.

Mmm, I don't actually recall editting anything other than the lines for The Dude, but it might have something to do with the way his killstreaks or "quick kills" are set up, or that he makes certain comments based on certain bystandards. I might look into these issues later and update this mod to be a little more efficient with this sort of thing.

Yeah. Switching back to the vanilla BasePeople.u fixes it. Even without it I have the redux voices playing? Not all? What is the modified BasePeople.u for anyway?

The sounds were ripped straight from the game's data via Unreal Engine.
Modifications like Corkscrew Rules and even Paradise Lost dont work well with the mod, and it is intended to be played on a normal AW7 or STP game.

It doesnt show up in the addons but works. Also some games like Corkscrew Rules crash when the modifiied BasePeople.u is installed.

Also to me it seems like the audio quality is very low. Of the voice files I mean. Sounds more like they have been taken from the original Postal and not Redux. But can be that they were supposed to be that bad to sound oldschool.

and i think this mod interferes with paradise lost since it modifies the voice. it removes the voice clips like when you're flipping someone off, postal dude doesnt say fuck off and when you're asking about champ theres no voice clip of him saying anything.

I suppose if you wanted to disable it a manual uninstall would be in order. Though tedious, it can be done by comparing files from the .rar to your folder and removing them as necessary. Of course you could always just verify the integrity of your game cache but I can't guarantee that will remove all traces of the mod.

It involves the way PostED compiles the files for workshop. A simple, normal workshop addon isn't enough for the files you need - they edit system files directly and therefor must go in the system folder in the games directory.

I included all necessary files within folders in the .rar, sound files included. The fact that it now works when you subscribed is very scary, but at the same time very convenient.

The dark ENB is listed in my homage collection. Shit+f12 in game will activate it, though if you just see a completely black or white screen, you'll need to run POSTAL 2 from the .exe in your system folder and it will work fine.

Also yes, my mod should have no issue working on Windows 10.
