half life souce doesn't really mix with half life 2 combine

could be something conflicting, does it not mention a reason at all?

I have Half Life: Source installed and mounted on gmod but everything is still errors and purple/black checkers, could it be a mod that conflicts with it or does it have something to do with the game itself?

Its a good thing that Opposing Force has generally the same textures. Wish you best of luck in the remake. Although What you can do is extract the Opposing Force RMF file and convert it to be used in Source using external programs or just loading the rmf file into hammer, it would save time and effort in my opinion.

@Fucking Abanian forest man - I hope so too. However I do believe the only outside occupied areas of Earth to be seen in the HL3 Mod would be the North Pole, as the Combine have already occupied that area, however not as vast as they do with their Urban Locations, since I believe HL3 will have a heavy aspect on teleportation and most likely extra-dimensional teleportation due to the Borealis, we may see some different Dimensions.

@RoboRomb Currently in my Map Making I am creating a map which is not related to the Half Life series in anyway - Exploring different themes in order to experiment with different architectures and such. However with Life and personal issues I have slacked off this map for a few days however it is still in development and should be coming out around August time if I figure out how to do it correctly.

damn i hope the unofficial half life 3 mod will show more of combine occupied areas outside Earth like this or maybe at the very least outside of eastern europe

Awesome, glad to hear it. I think my favorite map from you guys is DIM-LOC-4938, with the interesting Exo-dimensional planet idea, which is something more unique than just putting it in Xen. I might give you guys some ideas on future DIM-LOC maps, but I've been pretty busy as well.

thanks very much, man, I guess life's been quite busy lately but we are working on a map right now, however I don't know how far in development that is, I haven't been informed about it in a while (Snjar's just a wee cunt like 'at like), dunno when that'll be though, hopefully over Summer.

I have noticed you havent been uploading any new maps in awhile, my guess is you're working on one, multiple, or other important things in your life. Not trying to demand a map from you or anything, just stating that I love the work you put into these maps.

There is an Island to the far right of the map when you spawn, in one of the hill-huts there'll be a webbing which you'll need to break in the small cave there'll be the teleporter to that area.
