well lets see, 8x50mmR lebel or .30-06 Springfield vs ariel grade 'cloth and wood' for german biplanes or triplanes (fokker dr1), ngl this ♥♥♥♥ will be shredded to pieces with those projectiles.

I'd like to think of this weapon downing many WW1 Aircraft passing through because of the power it provides.

This poor, poor gun it gets a very undeserved reputation for being one of the "worst" guns ever made. Besides the mag ,because the big holes that like to get mud and dirt in them. It is a relatively good gun that is not the best but for sure not the worst. i suppose its not that easy to know for beginners... just equip the conversion in the customization menu and then use an ammo crate that or give max ammo if your sick of ammo limitations which most people are unless you want realism with your sweps.

except if you watch gun jesus' video you would see his gun dosent malfunction once until 120 rounds and its not even a jam its a different malfunction and the main problem is that aluminum barrel radiator and the long recoil action thats causing all that heat. its honestly not a bad design if they had measured the things correctly and did proper testing before shipping them out to the US it wouldnt be such a bad variant and it really isnt if you were to own one and shoot it you will see its a decent lmg for the time its the conditions and the rushed and build quality is what gave it a bad rep its not bad at all like i keep saying.

@supremewormy its optional but recommended it goes great with cw 2.0 in general theres code in cw 2.0 that make the prone mod better with cw 2.0 sweps in general this is one of them since you can go prone and use the bipod on a usable surface and get increased accuracy instead of aiming from the shoulder and hip firing which you wont hit anything more than likely.

if you dont like it you dont have to use it nuff said and it dosent require prone at all its optional but its recommended if you want to use the bipod on the ground so there is that.

I'm no expert but if you ask me it was the .30-06s problem, not the gun, Americans needed to americanize everything they get. The chauchat is falsely regarded as the worst due to the american conversion being, well, americanized. The M1909 had the same issue but it was eventually cleared up as poor operator training. Mainly the magazines were loaded backwards or upside down in that case

they gave my country the Chauchat's in 1914 i think...until in 1917 the Browning Machine Gun*Water cool'd*is MUCH Better....

well...Duke..the Chauchat *in real life*was label'd the WORST Machine Rifle or Light Machine Gun in Trench Warfare...the French gave my country*United State's*The ChauChat...but...most of them loaded the Wrong Round and that made the ChauChat did the WORST Preformance....the French is awesome at cooking & making art's BUT not good at gun's..kinda an STUPID job at making gun's...mainly it would Jam within Trench's due to Mud or Dirt*and grass does the same*

cant shed too much light on the 8mm mauser version there isnt that much info on it in terms of reliability unfortunately...

should be just the same as the 8mm mauser version durring WWI on this one is designed for the yugoslavians durring WWI and WWII because the chauchat saw limited use durring WWII actually by select countrys like yugoslavia/serbia and the holy kingdom of greece as well and a a few others i think.

Theres the Lewis Gun, but im not entirely sure on the scale it was used on. Seeing how people praise it as one of the best and most influential designs of that time, id say some high degree of use.

welcome to block list if you would watch the video wikipedia trumpets the undeserved bad rep it got and tbh its the most commonly used lmg in WWI on both sides and made their own versions if that nevered happeded it would be a legit bad weapon but reality wise there is alot of ignorant people like you out there trumpeting the false truth about the chauchat roflmao

@shroobmaster there is only 2 attatchments, the ammo and the 'conversion' attatchment, thats it. idk how to make it smaller and further away from the screen so you will have to deal with it.

it wont (and no its not able to implement such features on the cw 2.0 base and THANK GOD YOU CANT either) its gonna be like verduns version of the M1918 US CSRG Chauchat; completely usable and jam free jut more along the lines as a joke weapon but ironically better quality than this one (because their lacks a model and set of fitting animations and worthwhile attatchments to use with a chauchat in the first place) which is kinda funny but hey its that or bust.

Also people, expect a CW 2.0 M1918 US CSRG Chauchat that will be made with custom attatchment and animations and a custom model too in the future not sure when but im going to poke my freind about that as he said he would do it for me since school is done or hopefully it is.

if you atleast read the description i did say im not taking requests or suggestions unfortunately but yea ill agree with cw 2.0 being superior in many ways but i will also agree the coding difficulty is not user or beginner friendly.
