i dont understand, i have this enabled for my stygian run and so i went into the ruins for the first time and i keep getting mobs from this pack and when I do, there's only 2 or 3 mobs, not the normal 4. feels like easy mode, not to mention the mobs in this pack seem to bully out standard mobs, spawning so much they are getting boring in and of themselves. I thought maybe this mod would simply add some mobs to the pool but i didn't think it would replace 4 mob groups with 2, and then literally overtake standard mobs.

Got game crash and save corrupt. What happened: Qipao Fox (nsfw version mod) attacked the MeatCorpse from "Army of Bones" with riposte, got crit and killed it, but since after MC has to drop pile of meat after death - it got stuck and bugged out. Never ever this happened before. After re-opening save - Qipao is missing from file, other 3 heroes lost trinkets and everyone have 1hp. I dunno if this is Qipao mod bug or "army of bones" but it never happened to be before with other heroes.

@ActionJack Hello, I would like to bring this to your attention: I have created mods that rebalance, fix, and/or overhaul aspects of your three monster mods. I did this some time ago and I sent out a friend request to see if we could talk about them.

That one is for the Army of Bones mod, but I have others up for House of Piggies and Unleashing the Kraken.

My motive behind it was to add some adjustments for my own personal download of the mod, but I figured some people would like it too, so I made it public.

Unfortunately, I can't say much more because of character limits, but I was hoping we could talk about this and, if you want, I can take them down.

Мод сломал сейв. Новая миссия загружается бесконечно. Перезаход в игру и переустановка не помогают. Удалил мод, а игра при загрузке сейва все еще пытается зайти на миссию.

The cursed sword that reduces your damage goes away with holy water. At least it should.
And yeah, they're annoying as all hell.

Some of these things have interesting designs, and some are just broken and annoying. Like those swords that just reduce your dmg for the entire quest, while being immune to stun, bleed, blight AND having high prot with average health. That's clearly just fucking overtuned?

Royal bone guards are too strong. Mace bash that does high damage, stun, buffs itself for dmg+spd, stacks with itself and riposte that stuns on-hit? There can be two of them in a single line-up too which can potentially result in near-infinite stunlock.

I can confirm the crash with Mega Skullet. 2 Corpses behind it, 1 skull in front. It was hit with Zealous Accusation and the game crashed.

Mega skullet causes the game to crash if it can't summon a skullet OR if the apprentice necromancer is moved in front of it.

(NOTE: If this isn't how the mod is supposed to behave, it might be because of other mod(s) I have) I'm having a breeze in my lvl 3 long run. I've completed 80% of it by the time I'm typing this. I have so far 27,500 worth of gold. This is just ridiculous. An avarage of 2k per encounter, all of them being super easy for me. I'm gonna have to uninstall this and the other 2 monster mods because of this, as well as throw much of this gold away...

like vanessa said megan skullet can make the game crash but its only if all ennemy spots are already filled. Then he try to spawn a small skullet, fail and the game crash.

Also, I can confirm that it seems to have fixed issues that result from vanilla mash replacement. So at least, it now works with Mash Variety Project. Both normal monsters and the Homunculus appear to be spawning normally now.

I change the Mash (for monster spawning) to the addative format. See if that work or any thing funny (since I yet fully test it :)

There's a very annoying bug:
Enemies are able to apply debuffs even if they miss the attack.
Please fix this. It's very easy to fix.

This mod uses a deprecated spawning method. If you have any other mods that change base-game Mash files (Like Mash Variety Project) then this mod will be overwritten and will not function properly. The same applies to the Cove mod.

The Skullet Magus crashed my game after I dodged its riposte, it didn't cause a issue if the riposte hit, but once I dodged it crash

Sorry, please forgive my poor description, I didn't mean the whole line 85 and 87 are unnecessary. I mean that empty ".riposte_effect" which has no string at the end of these lines might be unnecessary, referring to the similar design coding of monster "Animated Armor" in Clair De Lune's mod "Moonlit Dungeon Ruins Enemy Pack".

In Clair's mod, she wrote the line as:
effect: .name "Animated Armor Riposte" .target "performer" .chance 100% .riposte 1 .riposte_on_hit_chance_add 100% .riposte_on_miss_chance_add 100% .duration -1 .on_hit true .on_miss true

Although that part might be unnecessary, it seems no bug whether written or not, so there might be no need to fix it. Anyway thank you for your mod !

About the riposte code, I found the monster "Animated Armor" in Clair De Lune's mod "Moonlit Dungeon Ruins Enemy Pack" had similar design that buff self reposite on spawn, but Clair didn't write an empty ".riposte_effect". Maybe this is actually unnecessary, or maybe not, I'll try to figure it out, if I'm fortunate enough to encounter a Mega Skullet.

Quick update to fix Mega Skullet

@Cathelia Samicora: thanks for the hot tip!
It was only the lv3 Mega that is causing problem, no wonder its hard to find/replicate. (sidenote, line 85 and 87 are in use. its what give Mega the riposte skill on spawn, instead of activate by a skill)

And what's more, in effects/army_of_bone.effects.darkest, line 85 & 87, those two effects have .riposte_effect but with no actual riposte effect strings. According to the similar code in Moonlit Dungeon, I believe these two .riposte_effect are useless and should be erased.

For those crashed in front of Mega Skullet, the reason might be the lack of ".effect" in line 10, in the file: monsters\mega_skullet\mega_skullet_C\mega_skullet_C.info.darkest
The lack of code cause the effect string "Ripo Summon Skullet 2" to be written after ".crit 0%" directly, seems completely invalid.

@Cocobat The debuff isn't irremovable, you can remove it by medicinal herbs.
