The mod isnt showing up in the mod section of civ or the my games files when I subscribe. Any suggestions?

Yes if you subscribe to it and go into documents/my games/civ v/mods sn copy the folder and put the folder in your maps it wokrs but everyone you play with need to have the map installed as well

Can this map be used as a multiplayer map? I know the people playing would have to all have it and add it to the expansion2 file blah blah blah, but I was wondering if this one is compatable

Thanks, I'll try that. I didn't know there were spawn points in this map. Also I had downloaded it from the direct link so I might try subbing to the mod and then using the map that is inside the mod folder.

Hopefully this all works out. I'll link you in my finished mod when it's done.

Not sure about the error, its been over a year since I've worked on this (or any map). I had some issues with placements but never any crashes, you might need to wipe out the existing spawn points and start over.

Feel free to use it for whatever you want.

Hey, I'm currently trying to use this map to make a fallout scenerio with the NCR, Ceaser, BoS, and Vegas in the west (few minor city states too) in the west. Then BoS,Enclave,and some city states in the midwest. Also for the east BoS,Enclave,Alot of city states and also incorportaion stuff from Fallout 4 too.

Though for some reason when I try to place a thrid city I get an error and it crashes. This is the only north america map that is this detailed and that doesn't contain canada or the carribeans and any south america.

Do you know how to fix this? Also is it okay for me to use it in a mod?

I don't understand how to download this. I'm playing on a mac and don't have the option for "mods" after subscribing to the map. I do have an option for "DLC" but no map I subscribe to is listed.

have you ever been to west virginia, the mountains are nearly 80 degrees. in fact it is so mountainous that the people that lived their needed a large piece of land to farm because they had no useable land.

tadbit, have you ever been west of the Mississippi? Are the Appalachians "mountains" in the same sese the tall, craggy peaks of the West are mountains?

i like the map but you need add in the appalichians and im not talking hills im talking like acctual mountains because that is a very common misconception

Its the largest boundries the world editor allowed. Im not sure if its actually larger than huge, but might feel that way being mostly land.

is this map larger than huge map mode in game? and if so, how have you tweaked the mapcreator to be allowed to build this?

I keep starting in the same spot (still) I wonder what's actually causing it..

Its not a scenario, when you set up a single player game and are choosing the type of map you want to play on , you choose the Manifest Destiny map.

i know that but when i open civ 5 up i cant find mods and when i open up scenarios its not there
