I love these German-style vertical flags! @grinDing not to be a flag nerd :D , but actually it's correct. The cross in the canton of the flag has to be closest to the flag pole (the same as the regular horizontal flag). Even though it looks strange to us, that's the flag convention on these - this style of hanging flags is mostly seen in DE, AT and CH. Okay, I went full flag nerd on this

I would love to see the japanese flag :)
