If you're hosting on MP make sure that you apply the mod in the 'steam workshop' section and not 'mods' section
it doesn't work for me. it doesn't display the -300 skill in the negative skills choices.
am i missing something?
As for editing the .lua itself, I feel foolish for not previously thinking of that myself, but I blame having been up way too late last night playing with all this. Thanks either way for the help!
You can also just get the mod and edit the file from 300 to many gajillions.
the location may be something like here:
`steamapps\workshop\content\108600\899287010\mods\300PointsTraitMod\42\media\lua\client\300PointsTrait.lua`
if you are not sure which 300 to change, change all of them!
(there is no need to change all of them, change the negative one)
folders "common" and "42" must exist.
old structure is modname > mod.info and media.
new structure is modname > build, common > mod.info and media
cross compatibility from b41 is modname > mod.info, build, common etc.
If the mod is compatible, this fulfills the new mod folder structure and is enough to update. Please don't take this example as good practice. this example is a vague minimum. I say this because it may be enough to persuade someone to update their mod, knowing it is not too much of a hassle.
Any plans to update for the unstable build 42 beta?
