I get this was kind of a one off, 3rd grade level mod but I would actually like to see someone add pipes with rounded ends that connect as normal, you wouldn't notice the clipping anyway as they are tubes, would make for good neon tubes.

you used the pipe mesh so they are still pipes. just retextured to glow LIKE neon tubes, but in actual fact they are just glowing pipes.
