In fact it had many names. Mp43 during developing (Maschinenpistole 43), later they called it Mp44 so the spys don´t find out about a new kind of weapon. After the release they called it Stg44. After that Mauser built a Weapon called Stg45 or Gerät06. *the fact police* . Just joking great work mate.

in addition to what Katos already stated, one of the few things the ak also took from the stg was the intermediate cartridge (a shortened version of full-on rifle rounds) 7.92x33 --> 7.62x39

woop woop WW2 fact police coming through. While STG-44 might look a little bit similar to the AK-47 (well mostly only because both use banana mags), but mechanically they are completely different. AK-47 is mechanically more similar to M1 Garand than STG.

@JAX you are correct, STG does stand for Sturmgwehr. It translates to "storm rifle", which basically means "assault rifle". Great model btw.

That's what I figured, this mod won't be able to crash anything in the slightest, try unsubing and resubing and see if that fixes it. If that doesn't work than this isn't the source of your problem.

This only affects textures, shouldn't cause any issues releated to crashing, unless your PC can't handle it.

You could turn down your monitor's and/or game's brightness and get a similar result. This has more visible wear on both the DIffuse and Specular mapping, and a slightly different color more in my favor.
