High-explosive bomb which explodes like the bombard mortars' special ammunition is NOTHING! (as in as big as a large projectile but it explodes thrice as big that releases 3 bits of shrapnel in Small Projectiles, possibly a varient FOR that mod that is its size but explodes like ten times as big and releases 10 bits of shrapnel that are that previous projectile instead)




Ok do you like this idea? I think it might be a little OP...let's balance that a little...
To make the catapult varient (the Catapult Superbomb):
3x Small Projectile
10x Metal Parts
50x Bronze Ingot
1x Mortar Impact Bomb (from your Bombard Mortar mod)

To make the mortar varient (the Heavy Mortar Projectile):
3x Catapult Superbomb
10x Steel Ingot
50x Small Projectile
1x Gold Ingot (from your Trading Post mod)

Possibly make this part of a mod that requires the bombard mortar mod and name it something like "Mortar Shenanigans"

Tried to use a catapult to fire some of these, but they do not load like the vanilla projectiles and when placed manually they stick to the firing spoon. So what am I missing?

Started a new world with only this mod on it. Could not find it. I will reinstall the mod and try again. No one else seems to have the problem so it's probably on my end.

Just tested it on a new creative world and they all show up in both the creative blocks menu and the crafting table. No research is required

I go into "load games" and then "edit world" or something. Then " manage mods" and It is on the active list with all the other mods I have on the world. What research do you need to make them?

You should be able to craft them in the workbench and anvil for the iron ball.
In creative you should also see them in the blocks list. Are you certain you added the mod to your world? :D

Where do you find the actual projectiles in the game? I have subscribed and then added the mod to a saved creative game. Can't find it in blocks or in crafting or if I search for it.

As a proof-of-concept I tweaked a local copy by appending explosive damage info to the cubeblock subtypes and ran it in conjunction with my Materials & Gunpowder mod, and the projectiles behaved as expected. Extra holes in things.

A stink bomb, using hot oil and a basic cannon ball when lit it emits a stink that does damage over time(DoT) and forces users to evacuate.

Add explosive pots, like the ones you see RTW2. not sure how you will make the explosive action, but seeing as ME and SE are built on the same engine, I guess you could port from SE?
