I'm glad you like it! Afraid I haven't found any good way of shielding the mines before use. If you operate the ship yourself, use them at a long distance. If the computer is controlling it, you're in for an easy match ;):)

The Prototype suffers from one massive flaw, if the mines get hit, then its game over, maybe adding a small covering to the frontside would prevent it, otherwise its great, the broadsides absolutely tore my vessel to ribbons.

Djed, could you give it another go, now? Made some more improvements (which, granted, will probably be rendered obsolete by updates sooner rather than later.)
