Im pretty certain that thruster fuel consumption is hard coded and isn't possible to change just by editing json files. I dont remember anything about making this mod, im not really a modder. I suggest joining the r/scrap mechanic discord server, people are super helpfull there.

Can you list what file you edited to make this thruster mod? I want to also make my own thrusters, and modify their fuel consumption, but I can't find any path for files related to thruster operation, only render files, particles, and textures

Thats a bright idea, i will try it. if it doesnt work it will probibly crash your game but thats a smart idea.

Btw is it also possible to make a thruster that has inverted force like if it's facing forward it will go backwards . You don't have to do that tho

oh, well i dont exactly get what your asking but i think i know. threre was no spesific proportion for a normal one so i did my best to match it. its also more consistant, no bursts of energy.
