metro realm was by far my favorite part. barely scraping by these giant trucks absolutely barreling towards me felt so visceral.

Aside from some clipping in the Metro Realm and the Junk Realm feeling somewhat luck-based at points, this was an amazing tribute to an equally amazing set of films. As someone who grew up with World Race and Acceleracers, I had a great time, and I hope you're proud of what you made because you and everyone who worked on it absolutely should be proud.

This was pure nostalgia for me, thank you for this map.

I kind of wish you still had a version of the old one up somewhere, where those of us that wish to enjoy our childhood memories without the ongoing frustration of fighting through every level's bullshit and contemplating suicide doesn't ruin the whole damn experience for us. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels the Metro Realm's bullshit is worse than most of this level, and I've read comments below about other realms past that one being bad as well. You really need to consider at what point making a level design challenging is worth it over the ire and frustrations of the players you seek to attract.

i am currently re working on the map. fixing any misplaced checkpoints, shortening the length, adding obstacles, and more challenge to it.

While the map as a whole is VERY well done, the Storm Realm is honestly very frustrating and a massive turn-off for this map as a whole. Plus, some of the sections seem to drag on way longer than they should, but maybe that's just me. Still, was very well done, and i applaud your efforts.

i tell you man, youre wasting all your creative talent making distance tracks, might wanna consider a career in fine arts or something and go singlehandedly make modern art good again, cause god damn are some of these tracks just so well done, the little details at every corner like holy shit.

This is the worst map I have ever played, over 30 minuites, one of the checkpoints spawns you under the track, so you have to try and fly yourself without wings back onto a diffrent part. A section of the map keeps saying "wrong way". Stupidest map I have ever seen. I hate this so god damn much.

how do you actually play it on the game

I love this track... Except for the Junk Realm. I just can't seem to be able to do it without spending almost 20 minutes in it. Probably my own fault. All around this is great!

It was pretty tedious at times, but it really feels like you're one of the drivers, very faithful recreation, I'm back in 2005!! Well done!!

The checkpoints respawning you under the track in the Cosmic Realm is a pain, but hey, at least I finally learned how to gripfly and get back on the road. Also, while other people may dislike its extreme length, I personally welcome the fact that The Ultimate Race is a track that takes me around half an hour to complete

While I admire the effort it took to make this, this is f***ing tedious. This is exhausting, this is a chore to play. Multiple respawns are broken so depending on where you mess up, you're gonna have to repeat the whole thing.

@PICKLE RICK it is a very big level, tons of props and track nodes. perhaps lower the settings to a stable performance or wait it out on the loading screen. it does take a while ^^;

everytime i try to load it on my mac it freezes the game :\ any fixes?

Yeah, don't expect AcceleRacers maps to have any sort of quality control.

Seems the creator acknowledged this bug 4 months ago, still no fix

There's a glitch, in the 'saturn' part of the level, one checkpoint spawns you off the road with no way to grip back on. Renders this map uncompletable...

I'm really glad I can finish this race track again, but I still wonder why the very beginning of the Metro Realm is so laggy

The trucks in the metro realm fly of the right instead of coming at me like they used to. Is anyone else having this Issue?

Metro realm for some reason freezes my game into nothing, it could be my pc but other realms work quite nice

I got stuck in the cosmic realm where a checkpoint kept spawning me under the track and because flight was not enabled I could not get back on the track. I had to quit in the final realm after racing for 35 minutes. ;-;

I am having an issue where whenever I try to load this map, my game crashes

Is anyone else having the same issue with the trucks in the metro realm?

Thanks For fixing the giant asteroid in the cosmic realm :), but the simi trucks in the metro realm are still broken, for me as far as I know.

This map was honestly the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, but please remove the giant boulder in the cosmic realm, thank-you.

In the metro realm, the simi trucks fly off to the side instead of coming at you like they did before. And as other people have said before, the big asteroid in the cosmic realm is fully blocking the track in one spot. If these glitches could be fixed as soon as possible, I and the rest of the Distance/Acceleracers community will be eternally grateful.

I get this frantic flashing at the start of the track. Is that normal? Might be a serious problem for epileptics.

I used to be able to complete this race and love it to death, but now the Cosmic Realm has a big asteroid on the track that cannot be maneuvered around. It used to be just enough in the way with only a sliver of track to drive around it carefully, but now it's completely blocking it. You can't even get around by using the grips on the adge of the track because you bump into the edge and get sent flying off. That needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

dude the cosmic realm is unplayable...theres a big rock just laying in the middle of the road and theres no way to pass it

Only complaint is the junk on the insides of the corners on the Junk Realm :p

The all of the obstacles in the junk realm feel like they punish the player for trying to use the skill the realm was designed to teach. The junk piles on the inside of the track force you to go into the path of the wrecking balls which, more often than not, will be right in the way to block your passage and kill you. The entire track is great, I just feel like the junk realm should be fixed so that you aren't forced from the inside of the track into obstacles you should be able to avoid if you're driving correctly.

I would just like to say I am truly amazed and so very happy to have played this. I saw someone on YT play this map because I have watched World Race and all of Acceleracers at least 10 times and this showed up in recommended. As soon as I saw that, I bought this game and got this content immediately and played the heck out of it. I LOVE IT! BRINGS BACK SOOO MUCH NOSTALGIA AND IT WAS ALMOST BEAT FOR BEAT WITH THE MOVIE! LOVEEEED THE CREDITS AREA AND SEEING HW35 ALMOST BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE! I highly recomend playing this if you haven't (to anyone reading this) and I would like to personally say thank you to the creators of this map. this was the best thing I have ever seen on steam. I wish we could have workshop cars and I could drive Vert's Reverb or Taro's Riveted or one of the Silencerz cars! Anyway, this was awesome keep up the awesome stuff and consider doing a last leg (ice map) from World Race?? Thanks and consider yourselves respected in my book, creators!
