The "dismemberment" mod changes the ammo type. The ammo type sets the ammunition reserve and several functions like gibbing or extra damage up close.

Basically, the SMG has less reserve ammo (360 instead of 650) but causes gory wounds, and the pistol(s) one-shot(s) any common infected in the mod you sent me. If that is what you want, add me to your friends and I'll send you the custom script(s).

Well.. i couldn't found the original dismember mod but that script has the same function... so well these are the mods that i was talking about

The script file contains several stats (capacity. damage, rate of fire, etc) AND the HUD icon filename, position, and dimensions. It is generally better to include an icon in the modified script, unless it modifies stats for a default weapon model.

Tell me what you want to merge. That, and playing on Realism dismembers Common Infected with any gun.
