having reached lvl6 allows Jack to create Septic eggs special to each other (base game and maybe friends like mark and stuff?) characters by using their signature item in the recipie, they each have fully different effects, like fire for willow, saw blades for woody, warfstach for mark... and so forth
just some thoughts i figured you may like
lvl 5: Septic Sam; make a "septic jam" vat with thucilite and snurtle shells and stuff, make the jam from snurtle gell, rot, guano, monster jerky, and other stuff, feed it to sam to have him grow (Jack can eat this to gain hunger and boost his damage and speed temporaraly at the cost of sanity and health, when he is anti the hunger and health part swap), once grown he will be his normal green self, bigger, has a stronger effect, now uses "septic sneeze" to attack (aoe cone instead of single pellet) which stuns enemies while the DOT happens
lvl 2: plushy; taking lvl 1, green mushrooms, spotted tentacle skin, bunny tufts, silk, gold, and beefalo wool you stich together a plushy which grips onto your arm, the bonus now travels with you and is a tad stronger
lvl 3: septic egg; lvl 2, leafy bulb, spider egg, monster meat, koalephant trunk to create the egg, the egg can fit in the body slot (held in a baby sling type thing) or be placed on the ground to cause an aoe, gives off a sickly green light either way (red light when anti)
he is so used to slapping that imaginary like button in the face that he can slap enemies while he has nothing equiped
the base damage would be about the same as a spear, however the lower his sanity the stronger it gets (shown by his hands begining to glow fizzy bubbling green maybe?) and deal damage over time (once a second, lose 1 damage each time it triggers, more than one DOT can happen at once)
when he turns into Anti Septiceye (0 sanity) his strikes lose the DOT in exchange for sucking life each time he attacks, also the base damage has one last boost when transformed and he gains slight armor
for Septic Sam why not have multiple levels of him available?
