Every time I put the mask on, I instantly get killed. I lost a lvl 90 character because of that.

to unequip the mask, load up hero info the second you're killed in order to get as much time as possible, it'll be in the top right of your gear screen. Click it and press drop at the bottom of your screen. You'll lose it indefinitely but at least you won't be dying.

People who are having problems with the gear being high stat, reason why is the game sets ur health to 0 if any stat is over 11k. To fix this, unequip the mask and drop the mask on the floor. The mask's stats should lower down to 849. If you don't know how to take the mask off, try to go to your hero info quicky and click the mask and click item box. Clicking drop will make the item despawn and you lose it.

I'm pretty sure that you can't use this on the real competitive gamemode, so no. As long as it doesn't give achievements, you will not be banned for using this as far as I'm aware. They could care less what you do in the workshop-enabled world.

I have no idea what you're all talking about. It works just fine.
Play Local > Custom Maps > Mod: Godly Gear
Then all you have to do is wait 20 seconds, and you get the loot. Or, beat the level, as the description says, for extra loot.

@Author I'd like to make a suggestion. In the description, let people know how to find the map.
