It's not working any more and I'm not sure why. Worked fine for years, now on my new play through, the spell can be learned, and equipped but it doesn't activate when you use it on a target. Any ideas?

does it deal damage to them when they are being levitated because i already have a mod that picks them up and throws them.

So after playing Skyrim for almost 400 hours and having this mod successfully work, after I got my new rig set up and everything installed, unfourtunatly this mod isn't working properly anymore..
I can find the book and skeleton in the water, book is floating, I get the book (which can be difficult when the pickup area for the book keeps bouncing with the waves) read it to learn "Grip"
the spell doesn't do anything; however the game does recognise that I'm casting a spell because my Alteration skill increases more and more the longer I hold the spell down.

Basically; the casting of the spell works yet the spell itself doesn't activate and "Grip" is not very gripping.

This sucks because this mod is AWESOME!

is there a way to make it so you dont start hurting yourself? it does not damage but its annoying.

cant find the book, pls help

disappointed it doesnt work for me. after looking for forever (its bobbing on top of the water not at the bottom) i can equip the spell but it doesnt do anything to any characters i have tried guards, dogs, followers, NPCs and all there is is an orange glow and they just stay where they are/ keep walking. i have all DLCs.

Can it be on the skeleton instead? It does not appear in the water on some of my characters.

Why in the water..? The text could of faded you know...

tmfink, search the book name using the console (use help). Terms included [Grip] ["Vampire Grip"] (Yes, with the quotes). It should look like this:
help "Vampire Grip"

for some reason the grip spell stopped working. is anybody else having this problem?

I have been looking for the spell book and cannot find it under any of the bridges leading toward dragonreach. Does anyone know the item number? Perhaps I could run a player.additem if I knew the item number.

It's exactly what I've been looking for, but I'm having the same issue as Doombringer. Always sounds like I'm taking damage while casting. Other than that it's great.

i love this mod (i am a man of little words) the first time i realized this was in 1983 when my mother told me and then my teacher in 1986 then my sister in 1987...

great mod,I was looking for this for some time.However,whenever I cast this spell,dragonborn starts to make sounds like he is taking damage from some source,even though there are no source that can cause a damage to me when I use it.Also while using this spell,health bar becomes visible as if I took some damage,but health doesnt decrease.Besides health bar showing and character sounding like he's taking damage,everything works same as its vampire lord version.Dont know if you made this intentional,but if not,can you please look into it and fix the issue about this spell causing invisible self-damage?

Alright I was just wondering if it was glitched or just intentional. I like the spell either way.. too bad you cant make it like the flames spell where you can just cast then scan over people to pull them in but that'd take more effort and i enjoy the spell as it is

It doesnt drain life like the vampiric version does

had to resubscribe because the mod was being turned off for some reason, it works now :)

@benmayer21 It´s in the water under the bridge to Dragonsreach. It maby floated away or sunk.

Having an issue with the mod where I cannot access my spell list. When I try to access my spell list the game instantly closes. Any suggestions towards what might be happening would be helpful, thanks. :)
