I was wondering if you (or anyone) has considered porting this to Source Filmmaker?
It's portable but it doesn't have HDR so there's no lighting for it.

I'm hoping to see someone implement Aquatic Mine into a Gmod map. Especially with a different water texture than Half Life 2 already has, maybe a very pretty looking water, with a lot of blue shading the water.

As cool as this is why not a better SA2 stage like City Escape or radical highway?
nobody has done those yet and iorn gate is pretty boring anyway compared to those or any other SA2 stage really

Here's the version I made with the HDR Lighting. Only thing I edited out was the steam in the vent of one of the rooms, so people can have their own particles for that.

Okay, i was wondering, because I know I've been pestering for a version of this map with HDR lighting, but I think it's fine, otherwise, and would be an interesting map for like an inside setpiece for Robotnik/Eggman's fortress.

aye, good captain, or anybody able to. i require like a tool [warning its about to get complicated] that allows you to make payload cart tracks, and with a certain button makes whatever the payload is go along the spawned tracks to the end area. adn i would like it if one mode is the payload is the MVM tank go along a optinal invisible track and ends at a hatch. *tf2* kinda like the adddon the aperature's phunmetaic diversity whatever the crap how you make it in segments. Guys, let me know if this is a cool desigh idea.

Yeah. There's also some random steam coming out of a vent in one of the rooms that can be removed, so people can add their own steam particle effects, if need be.

on that note, it'd probably be best if there was two versions released, with the second version lacking all of the G.U.N logos.

I really hope someone can port this over to SFM with proper HDR lighting, because it looks like the perfect map for the interior shots of Robotnik's/Eggman's base; I mean, the green tubes in some of the rooms are just the right shape and position to act as roboticizers.

yeah there's an option in bspsource for it to rip the textures from the map and dump them in the same folder as the map lol

yeah thats the thing fam, decompiling it will just give you a textureless map.

custom textures are all gone.

you don't need to retexture it, you can simply subscribe to the addon like any other person, and decompile it with GMAD extractor

(and if the textures are built-in to the map like in some cases, decompile it with BSPsource to get the textures and then use your original VMF)

i would if it were that simple but i think all the textures are long gone so id have to retexture the whole thing

Gmod maps can be used in SFM, it's just that this one doesn't have HDR lighting, which is necessary for the lighting to work right in SFM. Just find a way to add that into this map, and that should fix things.

Yeah, there's no HDR lighting in this map. I think there's a way to add that and have it work in both SFM and Gmod, I dunno.

all source engine games use the same filetypes. source engine can read bsp files.
