Actually, just to be funny, I've temporarily assigned each faction a modern day corporate emblem instead. Sophons are Apple, Cravers are EA, etc.

Huh. I think I was using that exact mod, but I didn't realize you made it, or else I would've said something here. I would be very happy to have it back. My poor ES2 factions are all incomplete without it.

It's not your mod. This is a glitch that seems to be happening to various mods, and not to every user either. Others have reported it happening on an emblem mod I use, but I don't have the same issue. The fault appears to be on either Paradox or Steam, but I don't know nearly enough about how their frameworks function to make a reasonable guess.

@Silverlanzer1411 It did eventually fix itself in my case. It took a while, but it did. Just keep trying and be patient. In the meantime, there is another collection of mods that add Endless Space 2 music, but it's incomplete and doesn't add everything like this one does. So just keep at it. Hopefully Steam/Paradox will figure out what the exact problem is and fix it.

I tried it a second time to see if I got the same result. The mod still didn't work, but at least it didn't delete my file this time. However, I notice the file I created wasn't modified at the same time as the others were, so Stellaris didn't even access it for some reason. I'm stumped.

So I followed Lord Orchid's instructions. Not only did it not fix my problem, Stellaris deleted the file I had made.

Yep the missing UGC file is the issue. blame steam not Septic Feast for this issue. if you want this to work you may have to manually create the file. not to hard just copy the contents of another UGC file you have change the name and the last number of the paths then change the name to UGC_thisfiles#.mod and your set

and yeah i can confirm the UGC_123 file is not being made. that is likely the source of the problems

Here's something: when I go into Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/ I actually find no files linked to this mod at all, but one should be present. Furthermore, the mod linked to the Warframe Soundtrack mod, which also isn't working in-game, does have a file linked, but it hasn't been modified since November of last year. As if something is preventing my copy of Stellaris from accessing and loading that information. Thing is I unsubbed/resubbed to this and the Warframe OST, so its file should be gone as well.

It did not fix it for me. I tried unsubbing/resubbing again, no effect. I unsubbed and went looking for any remaining files, found none. So I then booted the Stellaris launcher, resubbed, but it still doesn't work. This is very peculiar.

odd, the local version works totally fine but the steam workshop version completely fails even after uploading the mod again.

I can't seem to get this mod to work anymore, and I'm not entirely certain why. It used to work just fine, but for a while now I've noticed none of the songs play and in fact are not even listed in the music player.

I have a total of three music mods subscribed. This one, the Warframe soundtrack, and the Stellaris Music Expansion Pack. Only the Stellaris Music Expansion Pack actually plays currently. I've checked for incompatibility by disabling the SMEP, but to no avail. I've also tried unsubbing/resubbing also with no effect.

I also subscribe to the Stellaris Sound Project mod which modifies Stellaris' sound effects. I tried disabling that as well, but again, this did not fix my problem. No other mod I have should be making changes to sound or music, though admittedly I haven't tried disabling everything except for this just yet.

Might you have some idea what's wrong?

This mod does not have the spoken version.
The beta versions are the faction songs that were around in ES2's early access, the most noticable change is the United Empire's vocal pitch.
I can provide a download to the old and unavailable songs if so desired

Anf\d what is the difference between the beta version of some of the songs and the version found in the final final release of the game. Is it possible to still find these songs anywhere?

I tried a few of the tracks and they seemed to present on all of them, Flawless Theory, Dyson Sphere, To Rise, Virtual, etc.
