I know you stopped working on this but still THANK YOU SO MUCH for bringing one of my favourite weapon types ever in Elder Scrolls back to life!

They work beautifully and I finaly was able to finish my "Dragon Slayer" style with the Nordic Spear. Shield and sword looked good with the dragonscale armor too but nothing says "Imma kill me some big, flying lizards and absorb their souls" like a spear.

And ONE-HANDED, please? Holding one and shield on the other hand?

Are the city guards armed with these (AS THEY SHOULD, in the first place, officially)?

Where do i craft them (what menu), I can't find 'em

"Staff as model" I've read 2 times so far. You do realize that you can't powerattack with that template, right? and no blocking porperly either... No we've seen gangnam style animated town guards, but getting a spear animation to work is impossible? I don't think so. Whoever did the gangnam style or similar animations should just go for the spear thrust animation.

I tried to get a spear working as well and there actually is a thrust animation in skyrim. Equip a sword or dagger in the left hand and do a power attack. there you go. I was just unable to figure out on how to make use of this though as it seems to be fixed on the left hand power attack...

Finally, I guess your mod is cool, but I won't subscribe unless there are thrust animations for spears. Thanks for trying anyway :D And I agree with one of the commentors: One-handed spears would also be cool (1h spear + shield = spartan warrior ;)

OK:

1) This mod will be awesome with animations. Don't know why spears weren't added by bethesda in the first place.

2) The comment under my own just made me laugh my ass off.

Dude ..im drunk n just found this mod...havent animated in ages. BUT.i dont mind doin some animations for ya. if ya have a rig all set up then il give it shot. gimme a shout.im no pro but i know what itl look like.hell i havent even looked at this mod. but hey . if u still looking. lemme know.

I think so. There are other mods that add a full range of spears, so I assume the author has moved on.

It would be cool if you could add in one-handed spears as well. It would fit perfectly with an Imperial armor set.

I just loaded this mod & crafted some spears to test out. I like it because they weigh less than a battle ax, and if your a good smith they deal nice damage. thank you, good work. Oh, and is there a way to "thrust" with them, that would be perfect. CRT.

i am not a modder but here it goes 1 u could splice an axehead onto it to make it a normal haberd you can swing or splice in the left handed power attack annim which is a jabbing motion

is there any chance you can make a one handed version of this to use with sheilds ( i would love to use this with your game of thrones sheild mod ) also when you do get an animator please make most of the attacks thrusting and not side swipes, i hate only having one thrusting attack with a straight blade) thanks :)
