Since you did this for those kids i have a idea for you. How about making a orphanage on land that you can buy. You start out making simple small orphanage with only 2 beds. and one master bed for a house carl you can hire. There would be a chest inside and as you donate the place gets bigger and bigger untell it can house 12 or so kids. After the place is maxed, the player in question must maintain the home by putting 100 coin for each child a day, plus 200 for the house carl. If not a child will leave the orphanage. This means if you have 10000 coins in the chest each day it will remove 100 for each child and 200 for the house carl. If the chest amout falls below the required donations you would loose a child. The player has to go adopt children to fill the orphanage. What do you think?

Great mod and it works well but the latest update to Skyrim fixes what this mod does...Aventus does indeed go back to Honor Hall.

I had an idea for Aventus, you ask him after you are the Dark Brotherhood listener if he wants to join and he does you train him and can have him follow you to see how its done.

I like this mod, I like to see him go back to the orphanage. I did a Boss a check and it report this to me. I know how hard you guys work but it's says I shuld tell you. I don't know exactly what it means, but I figure you will.

what about taking care of him in his own home and that way you can be his guardian and have a free house that is what I do in the game..

While adoption would make sense, my complaint is that he just stands in the same spot all day and night! He doesn't even go to sleep! I don't know what causes this, as when I make an NPC all I have to do is put him/her in the spot and they automatically go through a basic routine.

The Unofficial Skyrim Patch makes Aventus go back to the orphanage too, so you shouldn't need both that patch and this one.

Is there a way we can adopt Aventus if we have Hearthfire?

Nice mod but you know what you need to add for people with Hearthfire? A way to adopt him! For us evil assassin parents. ;D

Aventus is now at the Orphanage, thank you. This should have been done in the first place and I don't know why the developers won't let us adopt him. Anyone who is a DB fan wants to.

I've done everything and he's in Honourhall, and im allowed to adopt there. He still won't let me adopt him though. He just says something but doesnt go into actual conversation. Any ideas?

Thanks! I really wanted this twisted kid raise as my Kahjiit is a bit "dark" so it makes sense she'd adopt the child that collects human body parts :D

I have a kill everyone mod, and I was just walking on the road to riften, and I saw Aventus laying on the street, dead. It gave me a good chucle, as I did the kill the dark brotherhood quest and was returning to riftin to talk to him.

@Just.....Did you tell him Grelod is dead? when I did he gave me my reward and left soon after and I followed him right out of the city....I have hearthfire now and NO I didnt adopt him. MY PC is argonian and through another mod I adopted 2 argonian kids.

Finished the dark brotherhood quest, waited over 24 hours, no killable children mod. Aventus still just sits in the room with the bodyparts, standing there.

well its nice hes gonna live in a town where theives attack and loot almost on a nightly basis

Does Hearthfire fix this bug, or do I still need this mod?

Hearthfire is out for those that want to adopt this lil BRAT (I'll pass on the DLC and adopting this or ANY nord kid)....Minor update I did see the kid leave his house after I told him Grelod was dead and folowed him till he left the city so I guess this works.

@ catlady youll probably like the new DLC thats coming out then Heartfire You'll be able to buy land in your game and build a hous on it and then adopt virtual kids....I'd rather have a mod that lets me BAT annoying NPC kids and Adults into next week with my TAIL (< is Argonian)....personally I'd LOVE to take care of the thieves guild like I did the Dark brotherhood.....total destruction. IF ANY NPC kic wants to be adopted I'll pass!
