Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Technically, no, but there are several features I've been trying to correct with this effect, but haven't had the time. At the moment even without the ebony mail you will still cause a small amount of damage while standing on or next to npcs.

if you have the ebony mail equiped then you can deal damage while in wraith form
is this intended or not?

I'm still stuck on the fact you have the chest. You can't find the boots in the console? Even when you type: help "Ghost Walker"
If that doesn't work try searching for "Void walker"
That should show some of the background effects.
Also, what is the name of the chest?
This mod is set up so that you can drop it in a current game or start a new one, it shouldn't matter.

Hold on, so you have a chest, but there are no boots in the chest? Are you sure the chest is for my mod? I use this one, so I've no clue how you could have a chest with no boots.

What do you mean it doesn't work for you? Are you sure it is downloading? Also, you are only a "Ghost" while crouching and not interacting with anything.

Well, the only problem with that idea is that while you are a ghost, you cannot interact with anything and heal over time effects will not work (potions or spells). What would be the point? I'm not even sure you can talk with anyone. Sorry.

Your english is great. Yes you can enchant other items with it. I don't remember what types. You only need one item with this enchantment.

The effects should only occure while sneaking when you wear the boots. I've just tested the version on Steam and it's working so far. Try redownloading it!

More detail? Where in the load order is it. Are you using something that changes the Shadow Warrior perk. What happens when you put on the boots and sneak?

Yup, very OP. You are never in danger of being hurt, untill you try to attack. You can sometimes get hurt during that few seconds. That is supposing anyone is near enough to attack you.

I dont agree with dodac23 i like the idea of ur mod and still use cheat mods to go along with the game there are plenty of just plainly overpowered mods if he wants go to them keep up the good work

Here are my thoughts on this for what its worth. The whole point of downloading a "over powered" mod or "cheat" if you will is to just have fun because you've already beaten the game. With that said leave it be, to me if you want to complain about how over powered a mod it just don't download it.

There is a small downside, while you are a ghost you cannot heal with magic. Potions and the natural recovery work, just not healing spells.

I think unless you can find a way to give the enchantment a noticeable downside, I think constantly being a ghost would be too powerful. But that's just my opinion :) I would still use the crouch/stand version regardless.

Well, I think you should change it to where they work when standing and crouching as well. I just like to run around and be a ghost while standing c:

Just out of interest. Those of you who like this mod, should I remove the crouching start/stop mechanism? In other word, you put on the boots, you become a ghost until you take them off? I only ask because I've been thinking of making a second set of boots that work that way and I want to know if anyone would like it. However, it would take a little bit of time to get working as I'd need to find another type of trigger fix for bugs.

My skills with the Creation Kit do not seem to be up to the challenge of adding the side effect to the enchantment. The ghost effect ends every time an action is performed, and the negative side effect of decreasing health or stamina counts as an action. There may be another way to do this, but it will take some time for me to research. Sorry

@Idota.Captain Planet: You're right that the enchantment needs a negative side-effect, and a hard boss like fight. However, I haven't had the time to research how to make a good boss fight, or design a dungeon for the item.
Originally the enchantment was just made to be a fun cheat, so I haven't thought to include a side-effect. I might put in another version for those who like more realistic enchantments.

Ok. I think the idea behind this is really amazing. However the strength of the enchantment warrents that you put it in a much harder to access area. An enchantment like this is soooo much better when you feel you've earned it. I also think it would be a good idea if the enchantment had a single negative side-effect, such as prevention of stamina regen. But overall amazing mod; fix up those few balance issues (placement and drawbacks) and this will become a must-use for sneak players. Favourited, subscribed and rated!

ok to get ghostwalker you need to get a roblox account and get membership and play for pretty much 4 years anyway so yeah
