Just put it wherever the prisoner you want checked walks through for prisoner one. Or the package for the deliveries one.

@skomeg WorkQueue is not accessible from the checkpoint object, only from world.lua, I didn't realize I could do what you did in world.lua, Very clever.

@lodestar What do you mean? WorkQueue.Request accepts request type text and one element to handle (for search).

@skomeg Great job! Have you actually figured out a workaround to add the search request to the WorkQueue or they fixed that in a stealth update? Months ago I spent several days trying to do exactly what you did and couldn't find a way.

@Eep in my prison the deliveries keep moving and they get checked as soon as they arrive at their destination so have a guard ready there to look inside.

@murgh: scripts in the game have their own environment. so it can't be issue of incompatibility. it's also may be a reason why i can't find way to transfer data between scripts and have to check new objects in world.lua instead of collecting on init. though it don't cause any distinguishable cpu spikes in profiler => pretty cpu friendly.

@Brandjuh: it should be compatible, since there is no world.lua script running in the CombiPack mod. However I wonder if this interesting mod could be coded a bit more cpu friendly, since it's spawning an object far outside the map boundaries and then does a search in a radius of 9999 tiles every 10 seconds to find new checkpoints... A rather useless function which should be dealt with by a button instead and having current checkpoints cached. Also the search radius at each checkpoint should be a bit bigger than 1 tile, to compensate for the 1.5 seconds delay between each scan (to be able to catch walking prisoners).

I do not know why people here are talking about useless and so on, just do not download if you don't want it. Click away and look for other mod.

Imho this is a good mod since it adds realism, some prisons have a policy to check everything thats coming in.

The only problem I have is that its not giving a search on items, is it compatible with murghs combi pack?

I might be in the minority, but i think this mod is very useful aslong as you place it correctly, for example i have one of these outside my visitation, it works wonders as every now and again it will find contraband/weapons, and it replaces the need for a dog/metal detector and is much more reliable, i understand that it annoys prisoners, but if you place it correctly in the right places instead of everywhere you can think of. Good mod.

This makes sure every single item or prisoner gets checked that passes through one of these. It's very good for incoming deliveries which have an insane amount of contraband for some reason, I can't imagine who's packing and sending all those things. It's reduced contraband by a large amount daily and also used in conjuction with metal detectors and K9 units, place these at strategic locations. :D:

Metal detectors and Receptions do the exact same thing. This mod is rather redundant.

Plus searches that yield nothing will annoy prisoners, raising the temperatures. Even though metal detectors have a chance to go off when there isn't any contraband, I still prefer them over this.

@Dan_AviatorsRBLX, some of the best mods a year ago were ones that added crops, decorative items, extra roads for specific vehicles and helicopters that bug out quite a lot.
Things are only useful if you give it purpose.

a good tip is to just have a dog patrol go into cells during times prisoners arent in the cell block that way its not an official search and there is a chance the tunnels will be found, that same path could be switched out from one that goes around the outside for the rest of the day.

honestly u have to perform shakedowns on the cell blocks every few days or so to find tunnels. so im kind of lost to the feasability and usability of this. if it requires a guard to search the prisoners then u before long will have prisoners who just dont make it anywhere. metal detectors and dog combos are the best. all of my prisoners pass thru a minimum of 2 metal detectors entering the cell block and their cells. as well as anywhere else they may go

also they cant detect narcotics
this is a good mod to keep out of workshop and shop to make sure nothing bad gets in
