Nebel means fog. Its a fog grenade.

ah this is good all thoose moments of chucking a grenade by your feet and it not being a smoke grenade.....

Yep, it works on unmodded servers :) Not sure about the capping markers, but I can have a look in the files and see if it's possible.

Just to make sure, this still allows you to still play on official unmodded servers? Also could you see if it's possible to remove or make transparent the ABC capping text markers, it should be enough that they blink at the bottom.. it's immersion breaking and frankly gets you killed sometimes

It is possible to remove text by making all weapon names blank in resources/doi_english.txt (each language has it's own file so this will work for english)

Yeah I really like that idea. If the icons are clear and clean enough you don't need the text anymore (especially for people who play the game for a long time).

I think it's best to get in touch with one of the devs, to get the info you want, they can be found on the forums... But maybe someone here can get you in touch with one of them ?

My intention from the beginning was to also remove the text next to the icons, which would've resulted in a much cleaner looking HUD, and the clearer grenade icons would then also have served a much better purpose. But I haven't been able to figure out a way to get rid of the text. If anyone knows if it's possible and how to do it, please let me know.

This mod is more than just its purpose, it improves the feel of the ui slightly and this is no bad thing.
