Haven't tested it yet but that i just find your mod which solves the biggest horse problem in skyrim made me happy.
All these werewolf maniac berzerk horses who attack anything like they are in rage. Totally senseless AI made my Bethesda here.

Thank you so much. I've been playing a lot of Skyrim lately, and I've been going through horses faster than I go through potions. I get off my horse to apply ebonyflesh and summon up a couple of atronachs, and the next thing I know my horse has ran off to who knows where. I do what I came to do, and then set out for my horse to find that it's dead in the middle of the woods somewhere. Probably got into a fight with a troll. Anyway, this is great. I can keep my horses now.

I don't know if it was a temporarily malefunction or if it's a bug, but Frost did die once I owned him, maybe you should have a look at it. Thx for a great mod btw and keep the good work

I wasn't going to ever get hearthfire either, but it was only a couple of dollars on the steam sale and I thought, well what the hell I might need the esm for some mod project later on. I kind of regret getting it a bit as it's just an annoyance. Hearthfire is kind of broken when modding with it, and there is almost no documentation on the creation kit wiki's.

I have hearthfire and haven't had any issues using this. Then again, I haven't tried "adopting" a horse yet.. Doh!

You say, this mod doesn't support Hearthfire, but does this mod still work if i am running Hearthfire? Sorry, i am a bit puzzled about that. :D

Is there a mod like this for people without any expansions? Now the game just crashed in the opening, probably because i don't have Dawnguard :C - Seems like a really cool mod!

Very glad to have found this mod! Will report any issues, but I am stoked to finally ride horses, as I'd given up prior to installing this.

nate, use TES5Edit. You will be able to compare this mod to the old mod to find out what is wrong with Frost.
Unfortunately, many of these faction changes are incompatible with the Unofficial Skyrim Patch.

Since I installed Dawnguard and updated to this version of the mod Frost is no longer ignored by enemies nor does he run from combat. He still doesn't join combat though. The stable horses I've tried work normally. Can someone point me to the values I need to change in the creation kit to make Frost ignored by enemies and run from combat?

I even tried reverting to the non-dawnguard version and Frost is still broken.

This and the regular version don't seem to be working with the Hearthfire purchased Horse. : (

Note that this doesn't seem to work if you DON'T have Dawnguard. You might want to make that clear.

@Easy Company - Thanks for the bug report. I'll take a look into that and post a revision as soon as I can fix it. I could have sworn I applied the changes to that form as well... Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong ;)

This mod doesnt work on my summonable horse, but does on all others..thanks again, and yes I hate the original mechanic.

Thank GOD! A modder with a brain! Great work. One thing I never understood was this whole crappy horse mechanic they put in Skyrim. Annoying, ruins combat when a big horse blocks your battle and steals kills, then dies. Sincerely appreciate this mod. No horse woudl attack like this, gay, gay gay... wtf were they smoking when they made this anyway?

Thanks for testing it out. I am aware of the problem with Armored Horses. Sadly I don't know how to fix it short of recreating both mods from the ground up.

Works well, it does cause the my armor to disappear sometimes when using the Armored Horses mod though.
