Ha nice, I was disappointed by the lack of normal options in the normal races.

I have a vampire compatability issue.... neither male nor female will feed in the conventional way...they only way they can it seems is with a canabalism mod and the ring of namira and by eating the whole body...similiar to the nagaraja in the VTM universe.... while very interesting to play...not quite what i hoped for.....ive found no other issues with it and still a fun mod

I think that if you do the DB questline then there will be a bug with the chief, but I hink it happens to all modded races so I don't know if it can be fixed

Any one else having issue with shout sounds? Seems that when I load up this race I dont hear my shouts. I hear them just fine on other races with the same mods.

I've noticed some few issues with the Elder Race (Maybe only for me?), for example when being turned into a Vampire for male it only changes the the eyes. It doesn't change the face textures, and when being turnd into a Vampire for a female your character gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and you loose your customized character to an other appearance without any Vampire resemblance meshes. Another thing for males is that the hood for the Psijic Armor doesn't work, it's not that it doesn't show, but your ol' lads head will clip through.

I haven't noticed anything else that doesn't seem to work so over-all it's great!

hey! so does this work? with vampireism or will it crash? anyone tried? i dont wanna start spend hours into this char without being sure it is stable :)

Really good addon and needed race! It seems developers always skip out on needed things, like adding more races or just adding more to the game for general playability making it a lot more emersive. But money is always the answer to that question. Working with Electronic Arts and Firefly studios and others has taught me that it becomes a stupid problem and your like "What the ♥♥♥♥? We can't finish the game and add more things as well?" _-_

@Arrow2thekneevoy Theres a Gandalfs lightstaff on the nexus, You can easily convert that into having an unrelenting force enchantment. I already did this, might upload it if u want to ^^

Hey mr. author, please, show the guy who made LOTR weapons and ask him to get his artist to make a gandalf staff with like an unrelenting force enchantment, show him this mod and he'll be like "hell yeaaaah"

@truant: but that only applies if you have said conjuration perk and uses bound weapon, or the spells, which gandalf never does. he uses his staff for that, and in Tolkiens lore an istari (wizard) needs his staff to perform magic, so he basicly has the enchantment on his staff. with top enchanting you can add another effect to already magical weapons. his staff probably has a unique fire/lightning dmg + banishing daedra, so enchanting is still more valid than conjuration for gandalf :p

@truant: But conjuration isn't really a gandalf-thing. he deals mostly with light and morale-inspiting stuff (illusion/speech), protection spells (alteration), fire/lightning magic and runes (destruction), he dual wields a staff and sword alot (one-handed) and he deals with and create some magical items (enchanting). The only thing restoration about him would be wards, but he's not a healer. and he definetly never did anything about binding items, trapping souls or raising the dead, so conjuration is about as far from being gandalf as you can get :3

@Mr. AI: Thanks, I tried to get him as close as I could. To answer your question: it's not a Gandalf race mod, it's an Elder mod. :) And Elders do get Illusion, Speech, and Enchanting boosts, along with increased Magicka and Magicka regeneration. The rest is up to you.

P.S. You forgot Conjuration. ;)

but wouldn't better gandalf-racial skillboosts combo be destruction, one-handed, illusion, alteration, speech and enchanting?

@truant Oh, no problem. Like I said, it's a very minor point of annoyance. I powered through New Vegas with a Ghoul toon and only felt that immersion was suffering because of it whenever I ran into other Ghouls. Which isn't all that common.

So if it's too much work or not altogether important, don't sweat it. :) Work on what matters most to you. That's all we'll ever want and wish for,

@SweetCicero: I saw the others, yours included. I hate stepping on toes but I pretty much had to release this mod to complete UNFU. Feel free to adapt anything from mine if it helps you with yours.

@LEAM1983 & Hoshiyama: There are two options as far as dialogue goes:

1. I can add Nord-related dialogue in a compatible way by duplicating every line, copying all the voice files and distributing them with the mod. That's a big download and won't remove the references to being young, but it would be compatible.
2. Or, I could change the conditions on every line of dialogue that refers to your character as a Nord or being young to include/exclude your character. That would not significantly increase the size of the download, but it would make this mod incompatible with any other mod that changes quests/dialogue/etc.

Both options would require a lot of work. I might consider one or the other if there is enough demand, but I have a lot of other things on my plate as well.

Great idea! Now if only the elder races didn't cause the loss of some comments in the intro sequence, that'd be great. Being old doesn't change your race or origin, after all, so Hadvar's comment about the player character's origins should remain.

It's another minor niggle, but if there's a way to more or less excise any reference to your character being young when using this race mod, that would be awesome. It's like in New Vegas, where while I played as a Ghoul, I was constantly being referred to as a Smoothskin...
