if he made this into a playermodel, he'd have to completely re-rig it from scratch which could potentially make the model look horrible.

Well I use blender and there's really no way to do weighted vertex normals in it. I could try beveling it to achieve a similar effect but that would add more polys.

I wonder how medieval Europe would turn out if knights used armor made out of stone and not metal, like steel or iron? Same with weapons.
