Can you lower the operating cost? It's too high. It makes even the fullest of trains unprofitable.

I used the large USA map to lay in all actual Amtrak lines from Chicago to points west. These real lines all use Superliner coaches. These models add a level of realism to the game I did not think would be possible. Would love to see the diner car and the observation car in the future. Great work!

Sure you can ;-) but some steps are necessary. You have to know what every time I update my mod you automatically receive the new files and youre changes will be overwritten. So following steps:
- Look for X:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\446800\879375391
- cut and paste the folder 879375391 to X:\Steam\steamapps\common\Transport Fever\mods\
- change the name tho something like: maikc_Superliner_1 (the_1 is important)
- look into \res\models\model\vehicle\waggon there are 4 files open each with notepad++ (or another texteditor)
- search for : capacity = 88 change it to something you like, remember the number you enter will be divdided by 4 automatically by the game.
- click on unsubscripe here at my mod or you will have to copies of the mod (not good)
If something is wrong after that operation delete the folder you have created @ \mods

UG would have to correct the number of seats, since the data they used are unfortunately wrong.
The Metroliner (Cabcar) has real 70 seats (17 ingame) that is implemented correctly. The coaches used for the metroliner are the Amtrak (westfleet) coaches.
These are, to be exact, Amfleet II coaches. There you have the correct number of seats modeled (59) but then UG entered an incorrect number of seats namely 84 to the config (21 ingame). This data is only true for the shorthaul Amfleet I coaches and they are not in the game.

But to keep it fair, the Superliners are in the purchase and maintenenace cheaper than the Amfleet coaches.

Hi Maik. I think the seats are too low. The metroliner has 21 seats on 1 floor, and that on 2 floor has 19? I think that wagons need more seats 30 (ingame).

Not all of them, the sleeper and the normal dining car looks outside exactly like the normal coach. It makes not much sense to just change the inscription. The dome car is still wip.

Maik, are you planning on adding the observation, dining, and sleeper cars too at any point? (I have to admit, I am giggity about having Amtrak running my long haul passenger stuff now lol, again, you're amazing)

@Ironman oh that is a missunderstanding, sorry. 74 is the real number of seats for this coach, ingame seats are 19 ;) , I changed the description to clarify this.

These are awesome. Super excited to use them. The only thing I would suggest is to reduce the number of seats. At 74 passengers per car, most trains will only be 2-4 cars long i think. It would be fun to have longer trains
