@TheMikirog The low quality graphics of Luxor has never been looked at and I think it is a Ronimo side bug, I know one of my map maker colleagues had problems with that too so I'll have to ask him. So you're saying the start doors don't work? Hmmm, odd. I'll have to take a look at them. Thanks for your feedback!

@Spysm Thanks for thinking that! Kidaferu, Conorbebe and I, all set out to make a map that had the balance, art style and lore of an Awesomenauts map as we wanted to show that custom maps could be as similar as already existing Awesomenauts maps!

It's a great map in terms of balance, but I get distracted by low-quality textures. Also every door before the round starts is a bit longer so I can buy the items. After I land I need to instantly buy something with no time to react.

I loved this map! It resembles the planet were Ix comes from ery well, it has some bugs, but great map!

Scratch that! I found out that the ways the named areas were positioned would act weirdly with connectivity issues, with this new update, making droid areas wider will make the droids far less likely to mis the named areas even with host connectivity issues!

Oh and we have start gates now!

Yeah that was a very odd bug I can't seem to pin down. 4/6 groups that played it reported no problem with the bottom droids and I can't seem to replicate it in any way. Thanks for the nice words though!

All the droids were going through the bottom lane for us, otherwise it was nice and I liked the tunnel feel it has. Looked like it had ways to flank turrets also.

Thank you so much, Ophiuchus! I wanted the map to be unique in that each side was a different depending on the team. You'll also notice that the plants on the right side of the map are the same as those depicted in some of Ix's upgrades :D

The new textures are really good! It feels like an official map (well, with the exception of the newly added starting match shop door in the offical maps). Really like the detail of how there's a different type of "plant" growing on each side.

There are visual cues throughout the map when the drill is on. On bottom the broken core tube turns golden, and lights turn on below the jumppads and in other places of the maps! If I had it my way and if it was doable, I would love a custom announcement that would tell when the drill was on but alas it doesn't work that way.

Also in the description it does say two minutes but I suppose it's not TOO clear. Thanks for your feedback!

Ah, I see. That wasn't very clear at first. Not sure if you can have a sign come up in the background alerting that solar is "leaking" or something. In any case, it was cleared up and works fine.

The drill turns on at 2 minutes as the Ronimo guys pointed out, did you stick by near enough? And on the question of taking too long to get to bottom to top, we're working on some new additions that will make it easier

I really like the concept, I'm not quite sure how the map hazard/gimmick works though. I played a match and stuck near the drill and didn't really see anything happen or any solar appear. Perhaps that could be made clearer. Also I find it a little too difficult to get back to the top lane from the bottom if your top turrets are being attacked.

At what point of time does this occur in the match? I played for three minutes just awhile ago and there were always droids going to top. Are you sure it wasn't knockback or something that pushed the droids down? We haven't changed anything about droid pathing at all and it seems to work so I'm not sure what could be causing the problem or you.

No, the bottom lane always has 4 droids, because they don't go up for some reason

Hmm, for me droids go to top lane just fine. If you're talking about the middle lane, droids will not push middle lane at all. If you want to push middle lane for a quick way into the enemy's core, you will need to do it just by yourself!

It's a compliment, the character itself is fine but the implementation by Ronimo is absolutely awful tbh, which is sad, but still, I hope they do what Isaac does and add mods into the live game with a few tweaks, because the game can use all the content it can get and this really helps ^^

I would just like to say, I am amazed and shocked at how well recieved and succesful Luxor was. Everytime I look at the stats of the map and I see that we have 2346 visitors and 464 subs and rising, it just seems unbelievable. I would like to extend a large thank you from the entire team that brought you Luxor to you guys! Thank you to everyone who has helped us playtest, thank you to everyone who has expressed interest in the map! Thank you to everyone who has layed the map and possibly even got their friends to play th map too! And a huge thanks to Ronimo who has tweeted out our map!

However work on this map is far from done! Conor, Kida, and I want to make a unique custom map experience that you could actually experience in the base game. There will be a lo more updates to come, whether it's A.I pathing, textures, balance, etc, so look forward to these future updates!

So yeah, thank you to everyone and keep drilling those crystals for solar! (Don't let Ix find out though)

Not mentioned in the latest change notes:

-Bottom jump pads now go to the top lane instead of the jungle to make it easier to navigate the map. Terrain has been adjusted accordingly.

-Terrain removed from jungle hide areas and replaced with a platform. This again should make the map easier to navigate and also allow for better ambush opportunities.

-Toned down some effects and added some additional ones.

-The centre drill now actually mines crystals.

Nope! All the textures used in this map can be found in the assets browser! I used the blue team Jotunn Skolldir's earthquake textures to create the crystal effect for the terrain.

Thanks for your compliment! Right now after doing some extensive play testing I've discovered the solar drill gives much more solar than I thought so later today Kida will be tweaking the solar drill to match the one described in the new description of the map. A big nerf but the solar drill will still be as vital as ever to control after today's update! I'm happy you liked the drill!

Nope, subscribing to this mod does not unlock Ix the Interloper as a playable character! Inorder to unlock Ix, get past a certain XP level!
