Not yet, I need to go through and update the code. It should still work with the current patch but I can't confirm it. Also it will currently say the mod is "out of date" on the mod list. I am planing on updating all my stellaris mods here in the next few months.

Ok, all the mods I've posted are updated to 1.5.1. No content change, just changed the version tracker from 1.4.1 to 1.5.1. There shouldn't be any issues as they just add content and don't mess with the game files.

Ok, edicts are out, can't figure out a way to restrict techs using edicts. However, adding a new pre-req tech for each area of research and binding all the repeatable techs in a area to their respective pre-req will limit the appearance of repeatable tech until you research the binding tech.

I am starting with the ones I've made but a standalone for the vanilla tech is a good idea. I'm on it!

If you would design a small stand-alone mod that would add these edicts for the vanilla repeatables, that would already be a massive help.

No stress though, I know mods aren;t made with clicking a single button. (>w0)

It does, my edics list is already crazy with all the mods I have. I think a mod that adds 2-4 techs that each increase research options by 1 (non-repeatable) would also help.

Not to mention a mod that would allow you to repeatably research minor improvements on your warp of choice. 5 due to warp/hyperdrive/wormhole/jump/psi drive.
19 repeatable techs already.

Depending on how many mods would use this, you'd end up with a big neusance on your edict list. Though that said, a ittle bit of scrolling would be worth it if it meant being able to research other non-repeatable techs.

I think you can set it up so that each repeatable tech has a coorosponding edict that has to be active in order for the tech to appear on the list.

I'd hope that gets capped at 20 times though, not only with this mod. If you have a few mods with repeatable techs you end up having a techscreen full of repeatables with high priority while a ton of non-repeatable techs with low priority are basically locked behind them. I have this problem mid-late game.

yup, all repeatable techs can be researched an unlimited amount of times (or until you get sick of them).
