great mod. combined it with a faction crossbow mod, so now they have their own type and along with stormcloaks and bandits

Still working on my end. If people are having issues with it though, try putting this mod, the SC & bandit versions at the very beginning of the load order. Put these mods just after your DLCs, or whatever esm you have just after the DLCs.

@Manus812 @flysniper4 I made this years ago and don't really have the interest or will to go back and mess with it at this point. If theres a conflict you'll have pick one mod or the other. Sorry.

I would like to report a conflict. Between this and PrivateEye's Heavy Armory Mod. If I put this above Heavy Armory in my load order Imperial Soldiers will have the heavy armory weapons but no crossbows. If I put this Below Heavy Armory, the soldiers will have crossbows but no weapons from Heavy Armory. I tested it.

this would go really good with the buffed imperial armors mod. also, it'd be awesome to see this come together with the faction crossbows mod as well. signified imperial & stormcloak CBs + bolts on dead rebels & legioniers.

I just gave the imperials crossbows. One I can use more mods, Two I like fighting a challenge, Three I like being the challenge, Four Stormcloaks almost never have steel.

I always thought it was a bit ridiculous that crossbows just disappeared after Morrowind and suddenly the knowledge was lost and now only the Dawnguard knows the secret! This adds some much needed immersion. Great mod!

can you make it so its 50 percent of all imperial soldiers that use bows so that im not unlucky and have a million crossbow wielding soldiers attacking me it ruins the melee combat and afterall since when were the dawnguard sharing their secrets with that many people?

There are spears but you can't use them and reason why is because they would have to make a whole new perk tree for throwing weapons because they don't fit in as easily in archery like crossbows did.

@hoovy: ?? I DL from Nexus all the time. It is not dead. It can have multiple versions o same mod with optional files, and allows me to DL if I want to, not everytime I play.
