If you've got ported files for the black swordsman Guts that can be opened in blender, I'd be interested in grabbing them from you at least.

I said on the Casca release that the blender version I used to port the files is ded. I gave up on my older stuff because I was hoping my friend would release his models by now, but I guess he must be facing some difficulties as well. I'll see if he can pass me the files, otherwise the only thing I have left is the beserker armor. Depending on the interest I may try to get it to a working state, even today. So, ya interested? :cranium::grabby:

What's the situation with these models being remade, as you stated?
Are they still being worked on?

As I said a comment before, these are all being remade as we speak, by a different person. If you're ok with how they are right now then sure, feel free to port them ;)

Thank you so much for letting me port Casca. It was well recieved, and certainly appreciated by those who requested it to me.
In fact, now they really want me to port these Guts models over as well.
Is it alright if I do so?

I planned to upload it with the berserker armor, but then I decided to port some other models and I ended up not doing it :p Fret not, my friend is currently working on all the Guts models from the PC version (mine are from ps3), with capes and swords included.

So once you moved every mesh by the numbers from the .txt files, you select all the meshes, either in the outliner or in the viewport, then you deselect and select the skeleton again and press ctrl+p (i think), which will give you the parenting options, you pick the armature/skeleton option and select "don't create vertex groups" in all the prompts (there will be one for every mesh part). then you export it to fbx.

the parenting part, coz in previous games all you had to do was import all the smc files and then export and everything was fine. no parenting needed. also for some reason if I exported it to fbx then the skeleton shrinks...

at which point are you stuck? You import all the smcs to blender, realign all meshes and parent the armature to them. At this point I port it to 3dsmax so if you got past this in blender I can't really help.
