Hello friends!
As you recognized, i did not update the mod for a long time.
Real life has completely consumed me, so I have no time for ARK and modding.
i know, this is not what you want to hear, but i hope this will change in the future.
i am working on it.

@Grebog with the announcement of ark being moved to unreal engine 5 would you be willing to remake/rerelease this mod so that we can continue to use it if they do end up bricking every mod currently for the game?

tribe alliances are now taken into account
net traffic reduced
if player is killed while watching another tribe member, the visual effect is now correctly removed

not sure if this is still looked at since the last comment was posted almost a full year ago but was wondering if this also works with Allies. Would I be able to have some one who is an ally see the placement? Since they are not in my tribe.

I'd vote Grebog but the last time I tried the contest was rigged and I wasn't allowed to vote. :P

This mod here should be base game though, ridiculous Wildcard can't do simple things like this.

Grebog :: could you please add the ability to toggle "Only Place on Floor" for structures? There are some mods out there that still require placing on floors and would like to be able to disable that when placing them. If no, could you please share how you are detecting the "CurrentPreviewStructure" and I'll try to create a mod myself with this feature? but would love to see it added to this mod? thanks in advance.

@Temil2006 this mod can be heavy on net traffic. because of this i had build in the toggle. but to make it settable in the ini is an option. i will put it on my list.

thank you for adding the ability to use this mod/feature without an added item, but I do have another ask. Would it be possable to get an INI setting added to default on for everyone. for example .. "CompanionEnabled=1" .. if that was set to one, everyone on the server would have it enabled by default instead of always having to toggle it on after a relog? Justification for this ask is really just a quality of life request due to everytime tribe members are working together they are like.. 'so you see where i'm placing it" .. "no I dont" .. "damn thing isn't turned on again, what about now" .. "ok I can see it!" .. would like to prevent that ;) thanks either way.

UPDATE Online: Companion Note removed. Mod is always active. Toggle visibility using "Extended HUD Info" key (default the "H"-key)

Please, just make this mod activated by default, without any icon and whitout blueprint or item. This must be implemented in the game as a core feature
