To let everyone know, this mod is being rewritten with all new buildings to incorporate Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm.
This was back in 2019.
Any word on what's happening 5 years later?

Hello everyone, I am aware that this mod is imcompatible with R&F. I am working on a new version of the mod with compatibility with R&F, it's taking longer than expected with my busy schedule and after my hard drive died.

Hey, Love the idea and I loved Playing with it befor R&F. I found that using this or MO" Housing are not compatable with R&F. When either of them are activited with R&F and nothing else activated the Nodding log showes that It has Problems with your code, I can't seem to attach the three ZIP files that contain all of my logs rhat show this. Pleas accept my friend request or send me a link to where I can give you the logs!

I would suggest doing the same with my mod. Seems like mods just like to break with Civ VI. I hope to get the next update out tomorrow. (I was hoping to today, but I made plans)

Fixed the Rule With Faith problem by simply unsubbing and resubbing, oddly.
Didnt try your mod yet =)

Thank you both, i'll see if I can find the issue before I push the next update. But in my experience, Civ VI is extremely stubborn when it comes with mods. Before I released Mo' Buildings I actually had to restart it twice over and copy/paste everything over because of random issues of the mod randomly breaking with no way to fix it, which is a reason why there are some mods i've made but never released. Like I said, i'll try to find a fix. But at the moment, it seems more or less to be an issue with Civ VI.

Same problem as TyberZhan, but also with the Rule With Faith mod. So more mods are affected by this, not just this mod.

Hey , I love the Mod Concept . I Subbed to your Entire "Mo-" Catagory and im super excited to play . However when ever i start a new game it says "Loading Game" id expect that than about 30 seconds afterwards it says "Start Game" and seconds later it takes me back to the Main Civ 6 Menu . I Subbed to a lot of mods yesterday and i took them out one by one and when i took Mo Biuldings out My game worked again :( . I Would love to play with the mod If theres a Fix let me know or ill wait untill Further patches . I just Thought as a Devloper you Would Like to know the Issiue .
Im Still Siked to play the Rest in the "Mo-" Collection and i cant wait to Play with Mo Biuldings in the future ! :)

@rob The obelisk provides +1 of two yields and a gpp for 1 maintenence and 60 base production.The water wheel provides 1 food, 1 production, and bonus yields on certain resources without any maitnenence and is only slightly more expensive. I'd say the two are roughly balanced with each other, a slightly cheaper and more powerful bulding but the 1 gold/turn helps balance it. I don't know the direct analogy to the other buildings, but I suspect similar measures were used to balance them with vanilla buildings.

Also, while the description doesn't make it very clear, you can't assign specialists to a building, only have buildings boost the number of citizens that can work a district. So the robotics building doesn't provice 30 production for 3 citizens, it provides 10 base production and 3 slots for the industrial zone for 3 maintenence for 850 production. At that point of the game, good luck breaking even on the production investment required without a mod adding new eras.

IMO the mod just adds pointless buildings that are somewhat OP and break the rest of the gameplay in regards to balancing.

bobgibbs, do you use other mods? Perhaps there's a mod conflict I do not know about. Open up a new game and look under the astrology tech, if the Ancient Obelisk building isn't there then there definitely is an issue.
