Great map, I was almost lost until I found out that the faith plate is a crucial element in this map and will be used a lot. A LOT haha
Once it clicked the map was pure joy. Thumbs up and maybe even a favourite.
I appreciate the light strips above the faith plate.
Is someone willing to do a Hammer remake of this? :D

That was unintended, some earlier comments already pointed that out. There's much more to it, you haven't seen the beautiful final move, so I encourage you to find the intended solution :-) it has NOTHING to do with juggling. (which means it can only be the other possible momentum-based action ^^)

I may have played this years ago and left a comment then, but I just revisited this map and I have to say I love it. Unlike some of your other puzzles, I progressed through it quite readily - your "hard" label feels overstated - though I am not sure my final move was intended, involving juggling the cube next to the light bridge, walking to the button to disable the exit fizzler, and then timing the movement of one of the portals to send the cube through the fizzler. . It felt possibly unintended due to both the need to blind-time it and the fact that, as physics objects slowly lose momentum when doing this, there is some time pressure as well.

Oh my god...definitely extremely hard by my standards...but I did it all without hints! To quote GladOS "I hate you so much"--and I mean that in the most complimentary sense. How can you conceive such well-crafted puzzles? I almost gave up but I trust you to make the pay-off worth it and I wasn't disappointed. Amazing work! :steamthumbsup: :p2aperture:

Don't know if this is new info, but I was also able to solve the puzzle using the very first two cubes, no respawning required and only using moves from the solution video. You could tie the two respawn pedestal buttons together such that respawning either cube manually requires respawning the other, to force my slightly more intricate solution, provided each cube auto-respawns when destroyed. No need, though.

Hey Demon...I hope you sometimes check comments on old puzzles because I think I found a unique solution to the momentum for final cube fling issue https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2231872344--when bridge was removed the cube fell into the portal. Avoids the randomness of juggling a cube you cant see that @hestia.is.bestia and @?BlumCoLe' did. I'm glad it worked and didn't have to do the faithplate again as I had the same falling short issue that @Fumbly Bumbly had. With F6/F7 and nudging portal placements up and down I finally made it legitimately after many tries, but despite how cool the do-it-again concept is, I'm glad I didn't have too. I probably would have noclipped at that point. Anyway, I thought you might appreciate an off-the-wall (or ledge as it were) solution. As always, a wonderful puzzle!!

The far away faith plate made it tiring to keep walking some sections, especially on one I needed to grab the cube so had to redo the whole thing again. It made sense in the end tho, but it would have been the same if it was on the opposite wall instead

Cool chamber too. I had to think a lot after grabbing that cube on what to do.... good thing some parts where made specifically for certain things, which made it easier for me to figure it out in the end!

Holy Guacomole! This was fun and challenging. I spun my wheels for quite a while until I realized the faith plate is your friend. This time I'm certain I complete the level the intended way. Oh, and good thing I had my walkin' shoes on.

This was the first community chamber I tried after I got this game. It did not go well; I ended up quite frustrated. I completed it today and oh man, I agree 100% with what wildgoosespeeder said. This has got to be one of my favorite maps by you. Great job :D

Now that was a puzzle. This chamber introduces a concept, then a different concept, then goes back to the original concept, but this time combining the two and also by getting the player to do something that should hopefully get them to think further what they just did. It's hard to explain, but what I am trying to say is that the first concept until the last concept kept a cascade of thought going until the very end of the puzzle, but along the way, forces players into a concept as they explore.

The solution is so good and well executed I can't help but love this chamber. Felt a bit lost at points but it all came together in the end.

@Izzle Thank you! :D Glad you appreciate my rigorous playtesting. Honestly, I quite often run into exploits myself, and usually have quite a headache trying to make them impossible. When a puzzle is playable from start to finish, it's actually only about 50% done - playtesting is the other half, and it can often take a long time and be quite frustrating. Worth it in the end, though - although of course, usually after publishing I get people reporting exploits and unintended solutions, which I try to fix as best I can. Thanks for the cool question!

Fantastic work, as always. If I may, how often do you run into exploits when playtesting (or even after publishing)? Your puzzles seem to often involve clever sequencing, which seems to me is easy to mess up and accidentally break. If a player comes up with a single move you didn't think of, and breaks the sequence, the whole puzzle comes down. And yet you consistently come up with clever puzzles that are heavily based around sequencing, which I think you do better than anybody else. There are a few other people who come up with some clever moves, but your sequencing is pretty sick.

Great Puzzle. It seems you often sadistically force the player to redo the hardest part of the map. Unfortunatly, I forget the sequence mostly after I compleat it and must refigure it out.

Everything flowed nicely in this puzzle. The constant re-use of the faith plate was really satisfying, and light bridge was integrated well. Neither could be replaced by another element in this situation. Excellent work!

As I began to grow somewhat frustrated trying to come up with the solution, I found myself thinking that there would be no way I would like this puzzle once solved... But now here I am and... it's a nice puzzle :p

as said in discription Light Bridge and Faith Plate both underused and underrated elements but u showed how creatively they can be used. not hard for me. from beginning i keep thinking logically. it would be hard if dont think that way. favorite

Also, I'm not sure if juggling the cube like that ever gets it across, but if it does, I'll leave it as an acceptable alternate solution.

@Demon Arisen I played a lot of them, and most I can solve but not all of them ;P I often look at your puzzles and mevious's puzzles to use as inspiration for my own. I want to focus more on logic puzzles now since I find those the hardest to make.

This is probably my favourite puzzle of yours. I love how you introduce what at first seems a simple concept, that really makes you think the futher you go into the puzzle. I like the backtracking having to go through the same chambers again to achieve a different goal. Well done.

This map got me stumped 2 times but I finished it in the third attempt. I think it's the best of your maps so far, brilliant idea despite some backtracking. Many thanks for putting into last 2 maps different music, default portal2 workshop music really gets on my nerves because I have had to listen to it for too many hours.

@Demon Arisen It's not so much the faith plate itself, but me putting my portals too high on the surface I exit from, and I would fall short every time. I think the only reason I made it with portals placed lower on the surface I was exiting from is because the player actually skims the ledge slightly to make it to the other side, if that makes sense.
