I'm trying to find a solution on how to take out all the sprite based lens flares. I've been using GCFScape and I can't actually find any of the original versions of the files included in this Lens flare mod. I took all the included ones and remade them transparent, then dropped them into bms/custom and I was able to get rid of all the sprites that way, but there were still certain one that lingered. Anyone know where the original files would be located in the .vpk files?

you can get rid of light flickering by forcing MSAA! so it just looks phenomenal now!

even though this feature is supported natively by 1.5, I would still suggest to disable the native feature and enable this mod, as the lens flares from this mod looks much better.
they do make lights flicker more though.

This is a really cool effect. Thanks! The only thing that slightly bothered me was that the effect on some corridor lights were flickering as I moved (despite a high FPS).

It looks cool, but is there any way to tone it down? Some of the lights stand out so much now, tone the whole lot down by about 50%, apart from the sun which looks epic. :-)
