@Darian Stephens sorry for the late reply, but yeah your suggestion makes sense altho im not sure if thats the right way to handle the problem.

A random thing I thought of is, perhaps a back slot piece of clothing that allows Writhe to use normal tools, at the cost of use speed (And the back slot)?
Primarily to future-proof him against new items, without having to create alternative versions of every new quest-related tool you need to use.

I can't find Vortex cloak even though i kill Shadow chess pieces. They just drop normal loots

yes, also if you press the attack animation switch (x) with the mollet equipped the server crashes

the swiss army arm blades wont let me use them as razor, it does the animation but no fur comes off the beefalo, and the Mole Whacker Mollet doesnt knock out moles. The mod has been pretty fun other than those 2 happening

I hope it's not just that they forgot about the DST port and are going to ask you to remove it when they're reminded.
I really like Writhe, and would be sad to lose them along with the other classics that have already been removed. Woka, Wully...

@Riff, huh it certaintly looks like it was removed. I don't really have rights to port it but i could try to contact the author to consult on further actions. Meanwhile im always ready to receive your feedback on whether the character fits in DST well, or possible technical issues details.

Would it be possible that you could somehow port Writhe to the original don't starve as well? It looks like the mod was deleted already and it's a shame

random crashes when crafting his items and collecting grass .And withe should see shadow creatures 24/7 at like 40% opacity and eating nightmare fuel can fuel his anger towards his brothers and sisters making him stronger and faster and after 5 or so fuel he can use his abilities at will/ lower cd teleport and shadow spikes .

When I got attacked by low sanity and died it crashed my game.

You can switch to default attack style, as for jump attack it makes sense to leave it uninterruptable.

Like when you attack, you cant walk away in the middle of the animation, making really hard to kill a tentacle for example without taking any damage, for me what make sense a frail and fast character not tanking but kiting
