I tried the pack on ovals. The cars drive how I would imagine them to drive, very good experience. Unfortunately the mod needs a big update because the skins look pale, the steering wheel is a bit angular and the sounds are muffled (probably because the new sound system in rF2).
Anyways it's a nice mod, congrats to the modder and thank you. I hope you can update it sooner or later.

Heads up, there's a 1970 Plymouth Superbird mod by the maker of a bunch of the great NASCAR tracks.

Love the mod coming from somebody who didn't have the intention to do stockcar racing i. Because there is the Aero Warrior era mod on rF1, any chance of this also?

@BrothersInArms: Thanks for your comment. TBH I haven't paid much attention to brake heat. If I remember correctly I am using the brake physics from the ISI Dissenter. So I am not surprised to hear that they are over heating sometimes on a heavier faster car. I will try to update the braking physics in the future.

Hey Tobee, I love your mod!!! Lots of fun having a blast with these things, but is it just me or the brakes gain to much temperature under hard braking? I mean, racing at Le Grand Circuit ('60s LeMans) It takes almost 600mts to brake after Muslane straight using the bigger braks and even by soing so, the brakes gets over 1000 ªc (lol). Is there something to be done about it?

Mate you're right and it's all good.. maybe you could flip the orientation around like the link you posted.. more a Y shape... also the sound level is quite low compard to all the other cars in RF2.. The engine sounds are fantastic but maybe they just need to be a tad more visceral..i can only imagine how loud these things actually were!! anyway it's such an awesome mod and all i can drive at the moment.. i'm a bit obsessed with it!!! Great work

@sjb266: Thanks for the comment. This is the first I am hearing about a large steering wheel in VR. Sadly I have no VR headset to check myself. Does it look bigger than in the screenshot above? @AngeloDS: No permission was given. Which is a shame because I have no issue with a conversion. As long as I and MoparBob have a say in what is released. I want it done correctly, and proper credit is given to those who deserve it. Someone approached me before about it, but they couldn't adhere to that.

I am blown away at this mod. Superb!! Just ran 75 laps around Joes Speedway and boy was that intense! I was surprised to hear the Crew Chief app call some names out too! "You are reeling in Petty" This will definitely be eating into my Raceroom WTCC time! Thank you!!

Ok thanks, yes its all about finding time indeed lol, my nascar legends mod is still broke from a huge developer update, i have to remake everything, not the 64 skins though luckily, fixing parts of it whenever i get time.

@Vin: Possibly but with the current state of rf2's damage model it would be one of the last things I do. The amount of work vs. the outcome isn't very rewarding to me. If we had more options to make realistic damage I would be more interested in it. There are still some tweaks that I wanted to do to some of the materials of the cars as DX11 starts to get finalized. As well as making the LOD's to help with PC performance. Just a matter of finding the time :)

As the game progress's is there any plans/possibilities of visual damage or loss of panels?
Absolutely loving the mod it's the only one use.
