another suggestion would be more color modes such as one to dynamically match the colors of the background or have independent colors for the mids, lows, etc.

there's not many good audio visualizers out there but this one's pretty dope. it'd be great if there was a setting to have the wobble disable after the sound has stopped for a few seconds

this is amazing at 5120x1440 on Samsung G9 runs smooth on RTX 3080

If you try to put in a video as background then it not appears on the background.

I had this problem but it seemed to resolve itself after I switched to a different background that responded to audio and then came back.

I have a secondary portrait monitor, is it possible to flip this 90 degrees so i get more visualization on the portrait monitor?

@Andromeda. And trust me. I first built it to update whenever a new Audio Data set is supplied by Wallpaper Engine. but the 20FPS experience is far worse :P

@Andromeda. This is on purpose.

The reason is, that Wallpaper Engine only supplies around 20-25 Audio Updates each second (which would result in 20-25FPS if I would update the wallpaper based on that)

To create a smoother experience. I basically 'remember' the last audio data set, and 'smooth' it to the current one (interpolation).

This way, I can create a visualizer that can render 60FPS (or more), but the trade off is a delay of 1/20th - 1/25th of a sec (~40-50ms).

I managed to fix it. It was that I had the sound coming from my third monitor and the wallpaper on the second and there wasn’t screen-sampling. Thank you though! Still love the work.

That's really weird.Do other sound-based wallpapers work for you? Because it might be an issue with the detection of audio ( common problem with Razer headphones for example, see : https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/app/431960/discussions/2/1354868867716424310/

Otherwise they should work ''out of the box''. There is no uploading or specifying audio anywhere. This wallpaper is supposed to react to any audio on your PC.

I haven't gotten any of your wallpapers to work at all. Always been just a black screen. Though it might just be that I'm using it incorrectly. Aka, I tried to play music from a browser, but nothing happened. Not sure if I need to upoad the file into the wallpaper or something. Either way, any tutorial or admission assistance would be appreciated. Just wanted to also thank you for making these, they're really cool. ^o^

@Last in The Game : This wallpaper does not include any music. You need to search/download/stream/find your own music to listen to. This wallpaper will react to ANY sound played on your PC ( even skype/discord conversations for example )

So if you download some MP3's or whatever, and you play it locally using a media player, that will work just fine :)

@Last in The Game : Whatever you like to use? Youtube, Spotify, Windows Media Player.... doesn't matter ;) It works by listening to the 'sound' as registered by Windows, so it reacts to every and all sounds.

I finally got it to work, some audio setting in WE itself was set too low so it didn't recognize my sound.

It's so good but it only reacts to sound from my microphone. I have tried all the diffrent audio input settings in wallpaper engine but it doesn't work. I am using Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma and i know that other Razer users have had the same problem with audio visualizers not working. Anyone know how to fix this?
