hey mate, fellow modder here, sorry to bother you but i find something on your code you prb will be want to fix; using the subtype ID `defaultsounds` you override the vanilla sounds when people enable then on the sound block; i sugest you create a new subtypeID i did here and works 100% on my mod;

Change:
<Id>
<TypeId>SoundCategoryDefinition</TypeId>
<SubtypeId>DefaultCategory</SubtypeId>
</Id>

To:

<Id>
<TypeId>SoundCategoryDefinition</TypeId>
<SubtypeId>*MYCATEGORY*</SubtypeId>
</Id>

Haha I'm just busting your boys. Anyway, while we know what those sounds are, a video helps us to know how you edited it, the fidelity, length, etc. It's more tangible.
