Best series of ships in the game. Too bad the author stopped creating. By far my favorites. I use them the most for various purposes. Love how cool they look and all their functions.

will you fix it? it's quite broken now :/

I'm having the same issue as Kurp. So far it hasn't shot any of my other ships, just one unfortunate space pirate, but every time I get near it or leave a console it says an enemy has been detected, despite switching ownership of every block to me. I tried finding the sensor for it but no luck.

*kurpingspace2: you may have hit P to lock/unlock the landing gear and/or connectors - this will cause the small ships to disconnect

Same hotkeys as microsoft word uses I think - e.g. you could click the top block in the list, hold shift, and scroll to the bottom and click the last item to highlight all at once. I think you can also do like ctrl-shift-click or ctrl-A or something like that to select them all.

how do i highlight everything without doing it manually? because i think i didnt highlight everything and the ships connected to the ship got destroyed

Its just a sensor linked up to the panel that tells the lcd panel to turn on - i think its set to detect enemies and neutrals at the moment. Therefore, owners and members of an owners faction should not be detected. If you get into that sensor you could mess around with its settings more as you please.

would it work the same for factions?

If you open the menu where you can select all the functional blocks (thrusters, weapons, etc.) and select the option to show hidden blocks too, you can highlight all blocks and then use the ownership dropdown menu on the right hand side to change ownership - there are options like "nobody" "me" and then different npc factions. You'll want to change it to "me"

The intruder sensor should only detect you if you're not set to be the owner of the ship. Not sure why you wouldn't be able to move unless landing gear are locked. Be sure to use hotkeys or K menu to toggle lock on landing gear and connectors - if you use P it will unlock/lock landing gear and connectors which could cause the vehicles carried in the inboard and outboard bays to detatch
