I like the idea of this mod! (But I must say: I very strongly disagree about Howard's targeted audience. Pretty raunchy for youngans even today; the 1930's it was almost considered hard core porn! But I did like the cartoon that WAS for kids in the 80s though.) Cheers!

I was looking for something like this {an arrow cutting a body in half? C'mon!!!} sooo bad... a pity has been discontinued. An uodate or a mod like this would be sooo necessary!

Sorry, but I don't have the SDK or the game installed, and I'm not planning on going back to it.

I could link my reference for how I made the mod, if you or someone else is familiar with Conan Exiles modding. It's fairly easy to make.

I just updated it. I don't have the game installed so I can't thoroughly test it myself, but it should be fine again. Hopefully, it isn't often that the mod becomes incompatible. It's really fiddly to update considering the Conan Exiles SDK is 180gb and is extremely slow to use on my PC.

I can confirm what @tobysz28 said, This crashes our private rented server as well as any SP games we have. LOVE this mod, makes my wife comfortable enough to play this game with me XD, please fix it!

I once starved to death while afk in my own house. Came back to find that my body had been quartered. The dismemberment in the game is comically bad, so I'd rather it not happen at all. Dismemberment bad. Mod good.

xboxidiot: I think it works with the latest version of the game. I did a quick check and the uasset which this mod modifies hasn't been touched by the latest patch.

I don't know why the devs ever thought it was a good idea to have every human enemy explode on death. I would like to have a foe lose a part now and again, though. I think this mod may go a bit too far, so I think I'm gonna pass. Thanks all the same.

Excellent. The dismemberment in this game is ridiculous. I don't want to see someone sawn in half, and have their arms and legs fly off, just by shooting them with an arrow. A sharp two handed sword maybe, but not an arrow.

A bit late, but I finally updated the mod to make it compatible with latest version of Conan Exiles.

I think the mod broke a few months ago, but I'm planning on updating my mods once I actually start playing the game myself (should happen within a month from now).

Wonder if this mod still works, is kinda weird and silly when I cut an enemy in half with a vertical slash... or when I throw a horizontal head slash that cuts the enemy's feet...

Actually, J R Tolkien never intended his Lord of the Rings books to be epic poetry about orcs and elves and dwarves, either. It started out as a poem about fart jokes and shooting out orcs from your bum. But he couldn't do that because the person who wrote it on the men's room stall Tolkien was in had filed for a copyright sooo...we got an epic adventure instead.
