Very fun to drive but AI is limited to 160 km/h. Any fix?

Really great mod, amazing to drive. A problem I have with all F1 tracks I used so far is that in the run off areas where the gravel is the car always gets stuck and it's like I am hitting a wall. Adjusting the ride height doesn't change anything, if get into gravel because of a driving mistake its basically game over... :/ Any1 know how to fix this?

Can you fix the brightness of the cars in DX11??? These cars feels amazing.

@MrLeo75 Somewhere in the car setup menu when you're in a session, in one of the menu's you can adjust the "caster" angle, add positive caster to get more weight into your wheel.

@idead.bandcamp.com Yeah I noticed that too the other day, it's weird. I'm sure it used to have texture, not sure what's happening there. I don't know if I'll have time to fix it though, I'm kind of done with modding for the time being. :/

love how this plays, even on a PS4 pad for those fun 3 lap races haha. Also wanted to bring to your attention that for me brake ducts area has no texture on all cars and i also noticed green suspension rods on one of the McLarens and glitcy red texture on one other car in the same area.

Unless its something on my side, re installed the game few days ago but im not using beta, at least it doesnt say it next to the game name, could that be the issue

[DAA520]GoldenBear Yep, the weak FFB is down to rFactor itself, an old bug where cars with negative caster feel weightless. You can change this yourself in the setup menu. Glad you're enjoying it, 2001 is next on the list, finshing a project somebody else started. And since I know what I'm doing now, it should look and feel a million times better than this one. :)

@SL1DE...It does not take a genious to see he is a troll. After I asked him what he modded of course there is no reply. I think you did a damn good job especially considering this was your first one. The only negative thing I can say about it is the FFB seems a little weak. All in all a great job in my opinion and I anxiously await further projects from you. Cheers mate

Marc Bos If every mod was created by professional modding teams and up to your expectations, there would probbaly only be like 5 - Which would be a serious lack of content. This conversion was the first thing I done with rFactor modding, it was the whole learning proccess for me. If you don't like, don't use it. There's no need to be a cunt about it

I'm guessing you've never done any sort of mods yourself. So you can't talk. You don't know the time and effort involved. Yes, I agree that it isn't the best, as it was my first time. But I've seen much worse, I thought I done pretty damn good considering.

With due respects SL1DE you should delete this, it is junk basically and does nothing to showcase any factor of RF2, apart from just how bad mods can be.

That's weird. I've never seen that before. Not sure. Does it give you the exact reasoning or just say "3 errormessages"?

It says that it can't be installed, 3 errormessages (3 red errortextes about the jordan).

What does this error say?

When rFactor 2 Laucher synchronizes witch workshop, an error comes when it wants to install the jordan. All other mods run very well. Would be nice if you could fix it, good mod.

@Racer Can you give me more information? I can't fix it if I don't know what the problem is. What happens?

f1 1999 jordan doesn't work on my pc. could you fix this? the other cars are very good!

I planned to but I just don't have the time at the moment, got a million other things to do. :( Wish I could put time aside to finish this mod off, but I can't at the moment. Hopefully next month, it'll give me something to do on a Sunday night during the midseason break.

your work is appreciated for sure, better take time and make it as good as you can. And of course there are things in life that need to be done :) Mind me asking, will you optimize it for single player?

I am finishing this, however I kind of stopped working on it for a month because I've been busy with other things. I am not working on any other mod at the moment either, I am going to finish this first, when I get enough free time because it's very time consuming.

@Vostok VI You just subscribe and it should automatically download everything, then you open rFactor 2 and it'll install when it syncs with the Stream Worshop. Once installed you should see the cars under "F1 1999" in your car list in game.

Yeah I know. I'm in the process of updating the car paint so it looks better and suits the DX11 update, about half way done. Maybe once I'm finished with that I'll see if I can figure out the collisions.

I have found one very annoying bug in this otherwise fantastic mod. In collisions one can drive their car inside the body of an AI and then it becomes almost impossible to get unlocked. This happens on a regular basis if there is contact.

This mod is awesome, brings back memories from the old EA F1 games. Love the conversion, many thanks for your time and efforts! And keep up the good work of course :-)

@[DAA520]GoldenBear The LED's don't work on the McLaren full stop. I've tried fixing it multiple times but they just want to be stubborn for some reason. :(

Also LE isn't limited edition, it's league edition. Bascially every LE car is equal in performance to make for fair online racing.

This is a great mod you made. One thing you should know though. The led's on the McLaren don't show up in DX11.

What is the difference between the normal and limited edition of the cars?

I like how the Prost doesn't make my ears bleed :) nice mod though ... doesn't feel sim-like (not a complaint), but feels like playing the more blocky F1 games of the early 2000s

Hey Street. I really appreciate this era in F1. Something about this stage in the sport was awesome. That mixed with the nastalgia of the F1 99 Game back on the PS1. Keep up the great work and Im looking forward to future updates, im sure many others who havnt commented feel the same.

@huub It is a 0.999 version. At the moment it's 0.9995 and I only have about 5 things left to do, new tyres is coming next, then updated cockpit textures, new sounds, etc. Each thing I add is +0.0001.

I honestly released it as 0.999 because I wasn't planning to finish it, however releasing it restarted by motivation for the project and got me working on it again lol
