AAAHG! didn't work and I re-installed, restarted steam and restarted my PC and still doesn't work. Oh well thanks for the help anyway :3

@Elpaso Try navigating to "Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/" and delete the 'cache' folder. Then verify the game files via Steam. Relauch Civ 5 and attempt to download and activate the game again.

Unfortunately since this mod simply 'adds' the civilization to the game I can't define the start region apart from terrain.

In the future, do you plan on adding more cities to the list of city names? I'm sure there is a Wikipedia article of a list of city names. Great mod!

Regarding the new v.6, I updated and loaded a saved game. Cities already founded were renamed with TXT_VANCOUVER etc. that kind of thing. I unsubcribed from the mod, and re-subscribed. Now when choosing the Leader setting up a new game, John A. MacDonald's name was also atlered to the TXT_ format thing. fyi for debugging :)

Helping out some who haven't seen the Canadian Mod after subbing and unsubbing --

What I did was delete the other 3 mods I downloaded, being
Ethnic Units
Near perfect Earth
Avatar The Last Airbender mod

After that, the Canadian mod showed up when I subbed it. Also, I altered the config.ini to enable logging.

Yes, but one of the other engineers in my dorm figured out something to do with the config. I was going to be very disappointed if something were to happen; this mod weird enough was the reason I bought the game.

Whenever I subscribe to this mod, it does not show up in my Mods screen. I'm unfamiliar with the trouble shooting. How do I add it to the mods? I've downloaded other mods too and those work.This is one that gives me trouble. Yes, I'm using the vanilla version.

Would of been more nice if the cities went by date of founding rather than (I think it is) size. But its a great mod <3.

@King Ramzey This is not a map, this is a mod that adds the Canadian civilization to the game. Simply click the "subscribe" button above the description and go to your mods menu ingame to download and activate.

@ wmatychuk No, that DLC would not interfere with the mod. My suggestion would be to go the Civ Fanatics link above and try the advanced troubleshooting, which can tell me if it the mod or the workshop being glitchy
