The hinges didn't have the return-to-center option when I posted this machine. I decided not to update it because the crossbow is easier to aim without RTC. But if you just want to drive and don't care about shooting, it's easy to change. In any case, thanks for checking out my car! 😃

I don't know how I missed it but this thing is great at off road.

Why don't the wheels have auto return? But I like it any ways.

Thanks for the comments, everybody! I'm glad you like my description. Some of my favorite builders have been including images and gifs in their descriptions, and that inspired me to put extra effort into mine.

@TelekineticPlagueDoc The physics are a little strange when vacuums act on rotating objects. I did a brief zero G test in the demo video to show the inconsistent reaction torques the vacuums can give.

Making the car more front heavy seemed to help. Surprisingly, the center of mass of the new log block is actually at the attachment point rather than the middle, and that can help you shift more weight to the front. Most of the other blocks are like that, too. I hope that helps! 😃

I managed to make a moving car that works almost exactly the same way but it keeps flipping itself.

Damn!!! I wanted to make an engine like that but unfortunatelly I couldn't perfect it. Glad to see someone utilizing the vacumm blocks for propulsion. Only thing I've done so far is to make a crossbow powered car and plane xD. Also the description looks fabulous! All in all great machine :D
