if i host this on local does the other person need to have the mod in order for me to appear as bill or francis for example ? or will i still appear as nick and ellis to them if they dont have the mod , i know they hear the voice lines at least

This does not affect The Passing, but seems to work well on other default campaigns.

if this really does not work in custom campagins, then i think this addon was made for SPECIFICALLY campaigns for L4D2 only.

It's nice to see that the mod I uploaded years ago to gamemaps (https://www.gamemaps.com/details/12124) is here in the workshop. Years ago I obtained the script from an anime mod (I guess, I don't remember) that swap the original suvivors over the new suvivors. I just unpacked the script that came with the suvivors models. So, I have no idea how to make an script that works with the l4d2 suvivors over the original suvivors.

Works really well, some cutscenes are broken and the lack of dialog is a shame but understandable. Would be nice if there were more lines from the original survivors that fit the context of the L4D2 campaigns.

I really liked it :) The only thing I will say, there is a little bug that frozes the mouse angle for many seconds at all the start of campains. And on The Parish, the survivors are spawning at the wrong place (not in front of medkits). But this addon is so nice. :D :health:

ok so its inconsistant.. it works occasionally in single player and local servers but never works on public servers (offical dedicated) its a great idea, and it does mess with the bots names/icons (even custom icons) but it doesnt change the audio or character model.. funnily enough, this portion even works on offical dedicated servers if your the first one in the game. which can make for some pretty funny reactions from randoms. it was a great idea and concept.. but the game just doesnt work for it

works on local servers and single player.. but if you try playing on an offical server then it crashes your game during the loading screen. at least it did for me
